proof that yesterday was ridiculous...

the transfer window in the rest of europe...

lifted from a yahoo sports link... (no way i'd type anything this long on here..)

SPAIN
Spending tripled on 2010 but still totalled only around 28 million euros ($38.45 million) as just 12 players moved in actual transfers.
Malaga and their new Qatari owner Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Al-Thani were the busiest club but their five signings totalled only 7 million euros. Atletico Madrid, who sold Fernando Torres to Liverpool in 2007 for 26 million, had the biggest outlay with the 11 million euros they paid for Juanfran and Elias.
Barcelona contented themselves with Ibrahim Afellay from PSV Eindhoven for 3 million euros while Real Madrid's main deal was taking Emmanuel Adebayor on loan from Manchester City.
----
ITALY
Italy continued the trend for free transfers and loans.
League leaders AC Milan were the busiest, bringing in striker Antonio Cassano for a nominal fee after he fell out with Sampdoria and Mark Van Bommel and Nicola Legrottaglie for free.
Champions Inter Milan paid around 15 million euros for Genoa centre back Andrea Ranocchia, who they already half-owned, and 12 million plus Ludovic Biabiany for Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini.
The treble winners had said spending would be kept down having splashed out last season but injuries and their poor start to the campaign meant president Massimo Moratti had to reluctantly dig deep into his pockets.
Juventus do not have reams of cash like in the past, partly because money for their new stadium is being gobbled up, but they managed to loan Cagliari striker Alessandro Matri and agree to pay 15.5 million in June.
----
GERMANY
Bundesliga spending was relatively lively as 56.7 million euros was spent compared to 17 million last year.
The biggest internal deal was gifted Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo's move from Hoffenheim to Bayern Munich for a reported 17 million euros.
VfL Wolfsburg were thankful for the Premier League's spending power though as they took a stunning 27 million pounds from Manchester City for Bosnia striker Edin Dzeko -- and spent half of it on new players, including 8 million euros to Bayer Leverkusen for Patrick Helmes.
German clubs are generally in good financial health, notching their sixth successive record turnover for the 2009/10 season.
----
FRANCE
In France most of the deals were loans and none of the big clubs -- Olympique Lyon, Paris St Germain, Marseille or Lille -- made a significant move.
Struggling Monaco were the main activists with six arrivals and five departures, including the return to France of popular former Lyon midfielder Mahamadou Diarra after an unhappy period at Real Madrid.
The biggest deals were cross-Channel sales as PSG picked up 8 million euros for Stephane Sessegnon from Sunderland and Lyon sold Jean Makoun to Aston Villa for 7 million euros.
