Postby Sister of fu » Tue Feb 01, 2011 10:34 pm

Ready, steady, cook.

On Thursday I am doing an event with the pair and some school children and I have to choose which one I'm cooking with.

I can't make my mind up so I'm throwing it open to you guys to assist.

**edit. title changed for those of you not reading the full bloody thing....twunts**

Just from gut feeling I reckon Shay would be the better choice. He always looks really interested in the mascots and generally got involved with the kids when he used to play for us.

Oops. I didn't read your post before voting and went for Joe. So I will stick with him.

He doesn't look like he can cook, but he looks like he will fit in with a bunch of kids. Especially if they stand on boxes.

P.S.
Dont depend on him to lift anything out of the oven............. Just in case (you know what I'm getting at).

Some people didn't get it, or was it me?

She is saying that both will be at the event, but need to choose who will help in cooking.
Seeming to be nice with children is irrelevant.

Hart, whatever good work has gone into making him a better keeper will be destroyed if we drop him now, loss of confidence could turn him into another Kirkland.

Shay's more likely to have a wider range of kitchen skills since he's older than Joe - Joe looks like someone who lives on takeaways to me.

Absolutely.

Seems to me like great family man, always posing for and with the kids. Seems great in official site charity videos as well.

It HAS to be Given.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Saw Given with his wife and kids a couple of weeks ago and he was a proper family man.

Imagine Joe to more interested in the kids older sisters and doubt he'd be knocking up nothing more than cheese on toast

-chortle- Seems I am not the only one who didn't read SoF's post, but then again she doesn't understand the offside rule.

I read it, i was just trying to be witty. lol.

No keeper rotations in any competitions, whether its Prem, Europa, FA cup or Ready, Steady, Cook.

Mancini says it's "not possible" so it's not.

Bobby is the law in this town.

*oh and yes women have no idea about the offside rule, although one did try to explain it to me with pepper pots which totally threw me as I know nothing about the kitchen and things that reside within it, lol*

your best post ever. FACT.

it would be Shay for me, tho i Slim'd it all up and voted Joe since i thought it was about who i want between the sticks without even reading your post. Doh!

I think Shay would be a nicer, more talkative bloke and you'd prollee get more of a sense for how things were going with the team too during idle chit chat. Once Joe sniffs out that he's not getting in your knickers? Game over. Can't say i blame him.

cheers
