I think we've all see Mancini's post match comment. He blames himself, but what for?
The selection of Hart whilst going through a bad run of form? Putting Vieira on for De Jong instead of Zabba? Playing Boateng in general?
PS is it a mandatory two weeks out for Richards with the head injury?

I think the worry is that he doesn't know.

Fickle is the absolute correct term for football fans.A few weeks ago everyone was saying great things about Mancini and the team we hit a bad patch and the guy is slaughtered. We on this board need to grow some balls and not panic as supporters we are having our bad dip in form right now but in the next game it may all click again and we have our second wind.Stay positive and we will succeed.

Unless you believe in Mystic Meg, mate, whether or not we stay positive has got no impact on our future results whatsoever.Doug, I'm pretty sure he does know, he just aint sayin on telly.

I think it was more of a generic thing. As in, he's the manager, he has to bear some blame for every result that doesn't go our way. "Buck stops here" and all that.

Well i know negative vibes at our home games will impact on the players in a Negative way just as much as positivity will impact in a positive way ie:Get behind the team and it will lift them.

This is a football forum, not a football match in case you hadn't noticed.

Well of course they are fickle. Just as Spurs forums roast Redknapp or Hutton or their useless strikers or Arsenal fans rant about Wenger not buying and goalkeepers and Bendtner is their Jo. Oh and playing Nasri against Huddersfield. Going ballastic at that one.
Forums just magnify unreasoned rantings. Its their primary purpose.
Mancini is either a footballing genius or a dribbling idiot. He isn't either but if you like the guy you will err towards the former and counsel patience when we hit a wobble and if you don't like the guy you will call him names and claim he hasn't a clue what the problem is.
The only disappointment is the mind numbing predictability of it all.

If I had to guess I'd say he knows he got his initial selection wrong, and also messed up his injury substitutions.

He made a mistake sending out a midfield of Vieira, Barry, & Milner for the second half. But that said, City would have won if De Jong hadn't had to go off, if Tevez had sent his chip over the goalkeeper that bit higher, if the ref. hadn't given such a soft penalty, or if Kolarov's free kick had curled back another foot. So "fickle fans"?, yeah. "Mubarak out"? You bet, he's been fucking up for a long time, but "Mancini out"? Behave.

This. I am curious to know what the comments would have been without such a soft penalty or if Kolarov's kick had curled just a bit more.

Apologies If my opening question appeared to insinuate "Mancini out", as it wasn't meant to!
I was merely asking where do you think he got it wrong and what changes are we likely to see in the next game or two

This line from one of our distinguished posters cheered me up;
"Mancini is either a footballing genius or a dribbling idiot. He isn't either"
Just classic.

Just a question on Brum's first goal yesterday. Who was to blame?
The reason I ask is that I have seen City in training work on defending that exact free kick on plenty of occasions. To a degree I think Brum got very unlucky as it's possible Bentley miskicked the ball and it went bobbling ow instead of where it was intended on Zigic's head. bUT hwy oh why was it allowed to go through to Joe / Every time I see the practice ( plus every other team in the prem) there is a man placed perfectly to knock away that sort of low free kick.
So I reckon somebody who had that job didn't do it. That's back to the old days of individual error and we know the other goal was individual error.

He will be if we finish fifth and he keeps his job.
