Adebayor's first goal for Real Madrid in the Cup. Shocking marking but he took it well enough.

Top finish. Typical Ade goal and a bit like his effort against Bolton last season.

Very good quality striker. I really didn't get the big problem with him and certainly think we'd have more points had he played instead of Jo.

Get in Ade! Didn't realised he scored, hope he keeps it up.

Made perfect sense to get him packed off and to allow Jo to fill his spot.

This has got to be the most senseless idiotic action ever taken....makes me fuckign sick.

See he's sporting an upsidedown number 9 shirt. Nice cool finish too.

where has all this Adebayor or Jo thing come from, it was never a choice between the two.

Jo took up a place on the team. Jo is a striker of about one tenth the talent of Adebayor... no matter WHERE he is played.

Its quite simple really.

It is in cloud cuckoo land but not in the real world. When Jo plays (which hopefully won't be again) he plays on the left, same as Balotelli. They never play in the centre when Tevez is in the side, so unless you wanted Adebayor to play on the left which would of been just as bad as playing Jo (at least Jo gave us that shape).

I like Adebayor and i hope he does well but it was time for him to move on and not because we had Jo.

Ok I'll do it again...

Adebayor is a more talented footballer than Jo in any position.

There is just as much chance he will fall over, more of a chance of a better pass, more of a chance of beating a defender and certainly a fucking HELL of a lot more of chance of him scoring if given the chance.

"shape" my arse - Jo should NEVER have been on the pitch instead of Ade. Even if that was to go in fucking goal.

Have you ever thought that the shape that Jo gave us allowed the whole team to function well as a team? If Adebayor had done that job his indisicpline would have disrupted the team. Of course Adebayor is ten times even hundred times better than Jo is but which player was better for the team? Do you really think that Mancini rates Jo higher than Adebayor? You may not like him but he isn't a clueless prat. This is what i am talking about mate, looking deeper into why decisions are made instead of just thinking it's a straight choice between player A and player B. Adebayor was in straight comepetiton with Tevez and there is no contest there. Dzeko is a tottally different player.

Jo is a direct squad replacement for Ade, Bellamy & RSC. He doesn't just play on the left, he alternates between left & centre like Dzeko did last night. The choice has been made that he is better use to the club than those players, they were released while he was played. If Balotelli had been available more often, Jo would sometimes be used in a different position.

If Balotelli had been fit all year long then Jo would not be here now.

So we'd have only 3 forwards at the club?

Fair point, maybe i shoud of said he wouldn't of played much, just for cover. He won't be here next season, that is for sure.

Imo we've dropped a huge bollock not signing some kind of backup striker in this window. A relapse for Balotelli & we're one injury away from Jo playing a game every week. If that happens we'll miss our targets.

We're one Balotelli and Tevez or Dzeko injury away from being up shit creek, if we were to bring another striker in, what happens when they are all fit? We need a Hernandez, Bendtner who are happy to be paitent with regards to being back up.
