If he scored 3 hatricks in one match Jo would still get in the team before him.

I went, just got back

Fucling horrible weather and noisy kids everywhere ><

We played well, Jonno looked off pace still but that's to be expected, our number 8 looked quite good, think it was wabara, looked very yaya esque

Guidetti took his goals well and got took out by their keeper at the end which resulted in a free kick to bury

Mancini was ALWAYS offside

And their keeper played well

Floodlight failure in the first half was a bitch too

Thanks PoC,is Guidetti worthy of a place on the bench in your opinion?

I have actually called a line in a game when a striker did that, actually a couple. The amount of abuse I got was insane and he never went back onside, so when he was close enough I kept saying "offside, offside, offside, offside, wayhay onside, well done lad, oh wait, offside, offside".

Not yet, he played very well but seemed up his own arse, especially after he got took out, he got brought right in front of me by the physio and seemed more interested in whinging rather than getting back on the pitch which resulted in him getting a half bollocking from the bench

Why should it, he has been in full training for weeks if not months, I am beginning to wonder if he will ever get back. Even at his best when he first broke through he was probably only just good enough for the top end of the Prem League. So how will he be after two very serious injuries and months of inactivity. We are in danger of building him up to be our saviour.

Interesting that he wasn't even on the bench tonight when you would think it's playing time he needs most.
Leaves the thought that if he isnt injured maybe there is another plan for him but I won't get excited till after tomorrow . Maybe!

Good that MJ played 62 minutes but a little worrying that the reports suggest he is way off fitness as I felt he was looking decent 2 weeks ago.Not ready but not that noticeably lacking.

Guidetti yet again does all that he can so no doubt will be on the bench again on Saturday.

Wabara compared to Yaya. Wow. He is a centre half and nothing like as big as Yaya but I would say he has played well nearly every time I have seen him play.

I had the same thought when Mancini talked about "changes".

Mancini said he was having a rethink but it must be too early for Gai mustn't it? Probably a minor injury damn it. I would think he's nearer full fitness than MJ though. Still 62 minutes is more than 45...

I wouldn't be expecting him to start, but I am sure if he doesn't have an injury that he could cover 10-20 minutes against tired West Brom defenders.

I didnt mean it to sound as if he played amazingly well and was a midfield maestro but he had a few good runs from deep (especially when he did a 360 on the ball in the first half) and i thought he was a bit poor defensively for a cb

I quite like him but I fear he might be a bit like Ben Mee. Good player but not quite good enough.

It was Razak who did the Yaya impressions not Wabara, we got in late and didn't get a Team sheet.

Sounds more like it. Strange that is Razak's first EDS game even though he has trained for a while with the first team.

LOL'ing at the dissapointment in MJ comeback. 20 of our lads had a month off and took 5-6 games in pre-season and 6 weeks to get back to full fitness. MJ has been out for TWO YEARS, it is going to take another 3 months of EDS games, followed by close season work, followed by Pre-season training and matches before he is ready enough to be considered on the bench.
