The crazy game between Newcastle and Arsenal on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League (4-4) has not finished talking. Today, it would even turn Interpol, to look closely at this meeting that saw the Magpies to join the Gunners, who led 4-0 after 26 minutes though gambling

Strong prevailing climate of suspicion around the game, which would have been on the sidelines of sports content with strange movements of money. Tomas Rosicky, the Czech midfielder for Arsenal came late in the game and led to two goals for Newcastle, would include in the viewfinder of Interpol.

Even if he did do it, how can you possibly ensure that your team concedes 4 goals?

Well disallowing an onside Newcastle wasn't the brightest move by Dowd then.

Apparently there were no suspicious betting patterns and so far it as bloke on French TV who has said (allegedly) it wouldn't surprise him if the game was rigged. Which as 'evidence' goes isn't that compelling

Right, but still, think about what would have to go on. How would Rosicky know he was going to get subbed in at all? And even then, it's tough to guarantee a result for Newcastle- they needed that screamer from Tiote as it is.

I think they should be looking at diaby (if anyone).. if he hadn't of acted like an idiot then arsenal would of cruised home. Also it relied on a cracker from tiote and Dowd to give the worlds softest penalty

The illegal betting that's linked to corruption in football isn't always focussed on the actual match outcome. Like Butt, Asif, Amir, in the cricket (who's names alone sound amusingly like some form of denial) it can be on pretty much anything, no balls in their case. *snigger*

Also, look how many clubs have betting sponsors. And the adverts on Sky are always urging you to have a flutter. ANd the pundits are always mentioning odds. The hoardings are chock full of betting advertising. The influence of gambling in football is rife, and particularly from teh east asian markets.

I reckon it'll blow up here like it did in Italy before long.

A load of Bollox if you ask me. Seems like the Arse will go to any length to cover a the fact they lost a 4 goal lead.

I wonder what Fabregas had to say, 'Couldn't have beat us with 15 players'? So right, but so wrong as well.

So are you 'safe in the knowledge' that there's no corruption in English football?

You obviously don't know me, or my posts, too well. On this one though, it's just a bunch of whinging Arses who want any excuse not to blame their own.

Twats!
