Adul Razak - only a few minutes but he impressed me a lot, and I'm not the biggest fan of blooding untried youngsters.
Sure we were 3-0 up etc, but he did a lot better than most have.
Any thoughts?

Razak Two looked good in the three minutes or so he had - his technique was pretty impressive.
With Razak One and Rusnak in the youth team though it's going to be hard to tell who's who from now on though.

So you mean we have 2 Razaks ? And who is Rusnak. I thought he was a misspelling of Razak ?
On topic, I was impressed with this Razak in the short time he was on the field especially with the conficence he showed. Good future prospect.

Don't worry you will be able to spot the difference between Razak and Rusnak. One is black and one is white.

A young lad desperate to show he belonged. Great to see. Great that he got the start and credit to Mancio for that.

Correct if wrong, but the Ivorian midfielder we signed from Palace played the other day, while there's a Ghanaian CB sharing the same name (Abdul Razak Nuhu)? And Rusnak is a Slovak?
Hard to follow.

thought he looked good when he came on ... firs tthing he did was run at a defender, do a couple stepovers and lay off a nice pass. Good confidence, important in a young player. I hope we get the chance to work in more of our young players before the end of the season ... guidetti, boyata, etc ...

great to see that he got the runout. The go off the bench. The debut. The run. The substitution. The chance to play.

City slicker: Manchester City's Abdul Razak faces deportation from UK
What a waste of a young boy's talent
Abdul Razak is a young midfield player at Manchester City who came to Great Britain from Ghana three years ago to play in a football tournament in Aberdeen.
Abandoned by his chaperone and separated from his parents, who are from the Ivory Coast, Razak was taken in by social services as he was under 16.
He clearly had talent, though, because he was tracked by Bolton Wanderers and Crystal Palace while playing amateur football in south London before joining City in July. He signed professional terms in January and made his Premier League debut near the end of the 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.
He has made an incredible and inspiring journey.
Now Razak faces deportation because he was given temporary leave to remain here on the grounds he was under 18. His case is before the Home Office and, if it fails, he will be returned to Abidjan in the Ivory Coast, a city he left in his early teens.
Considering what he has already made of his life in Britain, and the obstacles he has overcome, it seems unthinkable that we should reject him now; of course he should stay.

Strange business. It's hardly his fault if any rules were broken & he has a good case to be here as a footballer, unlike Bebe, so hopefully it will all get sorted.

Poor lad, one week your playing professional football in the best league in the world, the next you face deportation, and to Côte d'ivoire of all places. They're so close to civil war, the african union has basically threatened to overthrow the current president by force if he doesn't surrender power.

Surely he has valid grounds to claim asylum given the unrest in the Ivory Coast, one thing can be guaranteed,we will have the very best human rights lawyers fighting his corner,i'm sure it will work out fine.

"We had a young lad there (at Crystal Palace) who had come over from Ghana to play in a junior tournament and clearly wanted to stay in Britain. He told us he was 15 years old, though he was very reluctant to tell us anything about who he was or where he had come from. He had no passport. What he did have was bags of ability. In fact, I've never seen such a talented 15-year-old.
"Palace helped him in a way that I've never seen any club support a young player. They spent a year coaching him and giving him all the support he needed. They made sure he was living in a safe environment and had money in his pocket. When Palace played Manchester City I went out of my way to introduce him to Emmanuel Adebayor.
"However, without a passport he had problems staying here. The club worked tirelessly to help him. I went to four meetings with the immigration people in Croydon to speak on his behalf.
"Then one day, without even telling us, he vanished. We couldn't get hold of him at his home and never saw or heard from him again. His name was Abdul Razak.
"I read the other day about an 18-year-old African player who made his debut for Manchester City earlier this month.
"You can imagine how the steam came out of my ears when I read this, after all the time and help we had given him."
