Following the "I pushed"....Edin Dzeko and Carlos Tevez threads, I have to confess......

It was 1965...In the John Lewis store in Bristol. I was carrying a very large and unwieldly city flag and waiting for a lift to arrive. The doors opened and I dropped the flag. As I picked it up, I moved forward bumping into two blokes. I muttered something under my breath at them...got in the lift and turned round to see Neil Young and George Heslop looking at me in all my City stuff and mumbling back. By the time I recovered from the suprise and tried to say sorry, the lift doors had already shut.
GUILTY AS CHARGED.

I trod on Dennis Tueart's injured toe at a quiz thing years ago. I didn't think it would be fair to push him after that.

Maybe it was the combat jacket with the huge City crest on the back or the double length (about 8ft) City scarf I was wearing that held him back. I din't suppose he could have read the flag as was rolled up on the floor.
Or maybe he just felt sorry for the 15 year old skinny kid who was me.

I think I pushed John68.It was on the pitch at Newcastle in 1968 after we won the league!!!

i was in milan a while ago and two guys brushed past me,being very rude.
i pushed one of them and then relised it was kaka,he went to push me back but seein that i was bigger then him,bottled it.

It's a tough call I'll give you that. I'm happy to accept that you're both from the same, distant, geological era - we could try radiometric dating to get a more accurate figure? Or are you a getting a bit old to think about dating?! (only one terrible pun was damaged in the typing of that post)

What a committed player and what a no nonsense rough head. What you saw is what you got and he made Andy Morrison look like Maldini.
