Couldnt go to watch tonight but here is the first info about the game.

A combination of injuries & international call ups, saw many changes to City's regular EDS side. Manager Andy Welsh gave first full starts to four players, Meppen -Walter, Henshall, Roman-Angel and Razak and then called on three others to make their debuts with second half appearances for Clowes, Robinson and Drury.

Abdul Razak completed a memorable 72 hours to the start of his City career by being given a straight red card on 55 minutes, but the ten men of City remained resilant to hold out for a draw.

Team Neilsen, Smith, Chantler, M Johnson (Clowes 77), Kay, Meppen-Walter, Roman-Angel, Razak, Bunn, Mancini (Drury 89), Henshall (Robinson 58)

Meppen-Walter has already had a call up by England and plays either centre half or left back, Henshall is a left winger ( fast and tricky)Robinson probably more a winger than anything ( strong runner) Clowes mostly a holding midfield player like Nigel but with more of an eye for goal,Roman an attacking play maker with really good feet,Drury also midfield playmaker.A really young bunch of lads and most of them I think are under 17's playing for the under 18's.

And good ole Razak getting himself sent off on his full EDS debut.I have hardlt ever seen a booking at the games I watched so his tackle must have been bad.

Thanks for that Doug. No word on Michael Johnson's performance I see but 70 plus minutes sees him inching towards the full 90. It's very irritating that Gai didn't get a game. I can only assume he's injured since I can't imagine he was fit enough to be called up by the Israel under 21s.

I think it was mentioned previously that there was two Razak's with the exact same name, one white one black? Or i might be totally crazy, but i swear there were something along those lines.

Abdul Razak made his first EDS appearance the other week when he came on as a sub. Then he did a few minutes for the first team v WBA. Last night was his first EDS game where he actually started the game.

The reason he was on the bench for the first team , as well as being fairly talented , is that we have so few others in midfield to call upon with such as Tutte,Ibrahim out on loan.

There might be 2 Razak's I don't know but there is also a Ruznak. Abdul Razak is black and 19 and I believe from Ghana whereas Albert Ruznak is 17, white and eastern european.

The midfielder Abdul Razak is from Côte d'Ivoire. That's the one who got the minutes against WBA. He's 18 years old and signed from Crystal Palace.

The left back Abdul Razak Nuhu is from Ghana. He had a trial and apparently impressed, but nobody seems to know if he's still around. He came from the Right to Dream Academy (as did Mohammed Abu) & is turning 20 in May.

I thought he looked different to his picture & somewhat taller when he came on! This explains it.

I believe the left back is on loan in Norway at the same club as Mohammed Abu.
