I don't think he's kinda shit by any stretch of the immagination, nor do I think he's "massively" overrated... I do think he is overrated though and that while he does pull a lot of the strings in an attacking sense, he doesn't score enough goals for an attacking player... and he never has.

A truely great attacker should have everything IMO and folk on here go on like he is a truely great attacker.

He is a very good attacking player, but not as amazing as quite a lot make out.

All that said, we are shitter without him, purely because we don't have any natural attacking midfielders when he's not available.

Surprised to see people saying Silva is overrated, thats madness he does not get half the credit he deserves.Only recently the media have started to cream over him.

Without Silva in the side we often look lost for ideas, hes such a good passer of the ball and has fantastic movement off the ball.

Sir Joseph stands over every set piece be it a corner, free kick or penalty he will naturally have decent stats on the back of it.

Same goes for the likes of Lampard, Gerrard you could stick the likes of Adam,Arteta and Van der Vaart in aswell.

Silva takes the odd corner but that's about it.
