Tottenham Hotspur

Stop winning games! I'm nervously looking over the shoulder now at them, they are grinding out results week in week out.

There game in hand is in a week and a half against Blackpool and they could be above us by 1 point. Couldn't cope with another season like last when they pipped us. Think it's going to go down to the wire again though.

no-one to blame but ourselves if that happens. we've had some pretty poor results!

It's all about us not Spurs. If we get the results we need we will get the Chumps league spot irrespective of what they do.

Edit:

I was being dumb if we win all our games that means Spurs will lose 1 game as we still need to play them at the COMS, forgot about that.

Squeaky bum time imho... funny how quickly a 9 point lead can diminish.

Nah they won't as they have to play us at home.

I think you might have that wrong. Care to reconsider assuming we beat them at CoMS.

They have done what we have failed to do
Stoke away win, Sunderland away win.

They have the easiest run in for all the top 5.

Tonight is the first time all season that I have thought that we're not going to finish fourth or above.

Hope to god I'm wrong but they look stronger than us and have players who seem more up for the fight than ours.

They have the most points in the league after conceding first. In other words, theyre fucking hard to beat.

We have 47 points with 11 games left. Away at Liverpool,Chelsea,Everton don't give me a feeling for many points so lets say 2 draws there would give us 49 points with 8 games to go.

8 wins puts us on 73 which will definitely get us top 4. Lose one of those and it's 70 points which is borderlne but I would hope ok.Draw one as well and I fear the worst with just 68.

So there isn't realistically much room now for error. The home games have to be won and we really need a good away win or two and even better if we can turn over one of the teams around us.

Spurs Run-In

Home
West Ham
Stoke City
West Brom
Blackpool
Birmingham

Away
Blackpool
Wolves
Wigan
Man City
Chelsea
Liverpool

That's a lovely run-in to have. Bastards.

If we dont get it then Mancini will be out - and I would support that decision.

Unfuclinbelivable - 1 down , loads of players out - maybe they´re worried about Arry going down. We are letting 4th slip - Mancini is a dead man walking imo

Let's hope their run in the chumps league continues and acts as a deterant to the league.

They were absolutely nailed on to win tonight. Was just gutted that they equalised before half time, as I had them on the half time/full time.

Ok, so now we are under severe pressure.....we deserve it, and I am now also worried, big time

They are certainly on a run at the moment, but I think their momentum might falter in the next month with those CL games against Milan to come.

Comfort yourselves with the thought of 'fill your boots' thrashing of West Ham in due course - it is scientifically impossible for us to keep a clean sheet.

They still have Arsenal to play at home too.

As said above, Champs league seemed to fuck them up earlier in the season, lets hope for a few shock results and some relegation dogfight teams battling them to some draws.

Anyone who thought that we would secure champions league football comfortably this season is living in cloud cuckoo land. It will go right to the wire and at the moment we are in a great posistion.

We should be weary of Spurs and Chelsea but not pessimistic.
