It's from May 2009. Are we all a bit emotional at the moment?

If that had happened to me you wouldn't see me posting it on a football forum, in fact you wouldn't see me doing anything for months. i just don't get posting somat like that on forums at all. Maybe some people feel the people they know on internet forums are their true friends.

Fish mate,
Please don't be so judgemental Pal. We are all different beings and have differing circumstances. In 1967, my Dad died which caused the onset of Alzeiners in my Mum. I was 16 and though still at school, I had to look after my Mum. I desperately needed help. I was fiercely independant and tried to manage on my own. The only time I actually asked for support from near relatives, it was flatly refused ansd I was left to cope.
Under those condition, the lads in the Kippax became my family. They were the mates that lifted me when I was on my arse.

This guy has been devastated mate. Left alone with only his head for company and that must be in a very dark place indeed. It is not just sad to post your problems on an internet footie forum mate...it is desperation. The desperation that he feels inside to need to unload a massive burden that he obviously feels unable to carry.

Regarding footie forums. I have met a lot of the guys from here and have never met a bad one. Both Walshaw Blue and i have had need to thank the members from here for the great support they showed to us when we were ill and hospitalised.

Do not underestimate the support and love of the members of this footie forum.

I didn't see this and started duplicate thread in Off Topic, sorry.

The whole thread brought a tear to my eye, what a fucked up thing to happen god knows how he must be feeling right now. So very very sad.

I only go on there to get little updates but have read that whole thing through and what really sticks out is how many people are offering the guy they're support. I probably would pop on here if something like that happened (perish the thought), cause I know that in such times peoples kind words help and can mean so much.

My thoughts are with this chap. Horrible.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

His wife and 8 years old girl died in a car crash, he's left with a 3 years old boy who seems to have pulled through (his life was on the line at first) and a 16 months old boy. Really puts football into perspective.
