Just kicked off to a rocking attendance of 74, not a typo.
Gotta wonder what the thinking is here.

world record attendance there then ;)
Seriosuly though, I can't see much going there from Holland in midweek, also considering it has to be freezing in Russia these days; I expected more from the home team though.

-21°C (feels like -30 °C) according to one website.

First of all the game was moved from Kazan to Moscow, which is about 550 miles. Second of all it was moved forward twice, so that that the temperature would be slightly higher. Not a great way to draw a crowd, especially when it's around 20 centigrades below freezing.

Seriously -21 C ?? Aren't their Fifa/Uefa rules against playing in such conditions ?

I am not criticising Rubin, but UEFA. I think they have a real claim to sue UEFA here if they get knocked out(and it looks likely now with a 0-2 deficit), the whole point of a home leg is to have familiarity with the pitch(didn't have) and a home crowd(didn't have).

yeah, true. Been looking on rubin's (excellent, english) website and it surprisingly doesn't seem like an issue to them.
