Talk about rip offs!

This is absolutely disgraceful by the football league.

Once again , fans are being asked to cough up for the cushy, well paid football administrators.

Cheapest ticket was £80 on Sky this morning for fans of the 2 teams, plus £26 admin fee per order, £1(+/-) a min to watch footy, still ridiculous.

How can they justify 26 pounds for administration? They'll have a computerised system and there will probably be a five minute phonecall involved.

Looks like 26 pounds for all event cost coverings and the other 80 as pure profit.

Can't complain myself, Ive been ripped off all around Europe.

There is absolutely no justification for this & there was no justification for spending so much money on that fucking stadium either. Unelected self serving cunts, holding football supporters to ransom. I have such a low opinion of these wankers who run the game & so much begrudge giving them money, that I'd seriously contemplate not going if it was City.

So I guess if the UEFA cup prices are similar you all will refuse to pay it? Of course you wont.

Theres a fair chance there will be at least one English team in the final. Those fans wont have to pay for flights or hotels. I can assure you that if City get to Dublin my flight, hotel and ticket will cost a lot more than 176 GBP.

If there isnt an English side in the final then there will be Barca or Real Madrid in the final. They have enough UK fans to sell the stadium out as well. If I was living in London would I pay 80 quid to watch Barcelona play in a Champions League final. If offered a ticket I'd snap it up.

Remember it costs about 50 quid to watch a top class game in London anyway so an extra 30 quid to see a CL final is not that much of hike. It's worth bearing in mind the wealth in London and the amount of people who will snap up the tickets for corporate reasons.

I can assure you even at these prices the game will sell out the day they go on release whilst 8 teams can still get to the final. Just like Arsenal who can now charge 100 gbp for a non hospitality ticket if you know people will pay it, What's the problem?

The problem is the £26 admin fee. How da fucl can the scummy cunts get away with that?

It's got fuck all to do with flights or hotels & everything to do with being ripped off. Flights & hotel prices have nothing to do with the football authorities. If you fly to Australia & someone robs your wallet when you get there, it's fuck all to do with the airline costs.

As an Administrator I feel I'm working in the wrong industry.

it's disgraceful. but what is anyone actually going to do about it? they'll pay begrudgingly and may even make a formal complaint which will be filed away never to be seen again. us football fans as a collective are too lazy to do anything that will actually change something. instead we let them piss on us time and time again and moan about our mates to it in the pub.

It's supply & demand. As long as there are enough chumps to fork out this kind of money the price will keep rising.

Inevitably, prices will fall, but they may rise for another 100 years before that happens. I decided that attending matches regularly was beyond me financially years ago.
