If Hart is England's number 1 then Micah deserves another shot at the right back spot. Superb again tonight, as he has been for the last month, and capped it off with a great finish for his goal.
Delighted with him at the moment.

Playing for that wooden, creatively void lot would probably shatter his confidence. He's clearly the best, at the moment, but it's almost a punishment playing for England these days.

He has looked a lot better this year. The up and down performances have evened out. Micah at least
deserves another go around.

And still only 22. But I agree that not playing for England is probably better for him with all his knee problems

He is definitely looking back to his best.
Quality player who has hopefully turned the corner for good.

Big of you to admit it mate.
Although it was 'only' Notts County he was fantastic again, and, lets face it, Glen Johnson is terrible.

I don't think he's even as good as that, although Dalglish has tried to big him up by saying that he's been revitalised by being switched to left back......trouble is, I can never make out a word of what Dalglish is saying, so he could have been offering a totally different slant on things.
Today, I thought Micah showed good mobility and cropped up in all sorts of good positions, especially late in the game when he was caught offside, surging through up front in a more central position. Thought that showed good ambition and confidence, which bodes well for future games.

Glen Johnson's pretty good. We've got this problem in England whereby every English player has to be "amazing" or "utter shite". Owen Hargreaves is the perfect example of this. Everyone totally slagged him between 2003-2006 without seeing him play much and then when he was England's best player at Germany '06 everyone was queueing up to dry-bum the cunt.
Richards is a good player, Glen Johnson is a good player, Rooney is a good player, Lampard is a good player etc etc etc.
Players, especially young players, go through peaks and troughs in terms of form. Is normal.
