City might have to finish 3rd to qualify for CL

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

City might have to finish 3rd to qualify for CL

Didn't even think about this. It is probably rather unlikely that either Chelsea or Spurs will win it... but can you imagine how you would feel if we finish 4th, then Spurs or Chelsea win the CL but finish 5th?

Oh my god...
so now as every enemy circles our city
sour and sore, we swear war

Nightmare scenario - we finish 4th, behind Chelsea. Rags play spurs in the CL final. Who do you support?

I feel dirty for even having to think about it.

Where's the quotes? If memory serves me right they weren't keen on the bin dippers qualifying when they won the cup and didn't get the league placing - this would also go against the trend in that I think I'm right in that World Cup Winners don't automatically qualify like they used to?

I also believe we'll finish above chelsea and spurs i.e. 3rd - arsenal have got some real fixture congestion coming up as well, with quote a shallow squad imo - we'll be rate

What makes you say that? I think both are scenarios that could possibly happen. Legitimate question really.

Chelsea could very well go and win Champion's League, in fact I think that's their number one aim for the season and we could well finish 3rd.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

If us qualifying for the Champions League hinged on the Munes winning then I'd want them to win. Simple as that.

I love City more than I hate United and I'm suspicious of anyone who has it the other way around.

Ha ha, we will see. I'd wager Barca will take them to the cleaners on their own patch, as like Paul Mccartney, Arsenal have got a little bit over-excited at one leg.
