EDS versus Bolton

There are lots of good reasons to see City’s Elite Development Squad in action at Hyde’s Ewen Fields stadium tonight.
Andy Welsh’s side play Bolton Wanderers for the second time in a week, having carved out a 1-1 draw on the road thanks to an equaliser from in-form Academy striker Harry Bunn.

The Elite Development side are unbeaten in the league on home turf so far this season and trounced group leaders Newcastle 5-1 in the last Barclays Premier Reserve League fixture at Ewen Fields.

Michael Johnson continues his comeback from long-term injury and will be hoping to give Roberto Mancini a nudge with a busy few weeks coming up for the first team. Exciting Israeli playmaker Gai Assulin starts for the first time, having earned a penalty during his 16-minute debut as a substitute against Newcastle.

There will also be a draw at half time to win some of our new range of training kit, and there are five pairs of free tickets for the smash-hit animated film “Tangled” up for grabs.

Please allow for extra time to get to the ground, as an accident has closed the M67 with extra traffic piling up on the surrounding roads.

Admission is £3 for adults and £1 for concessions, kick off is at 7.00pm. There will be 5 loyalty points added for this fixture but please remember to bring your seasoncard with you.

Team: Nielsen, Logan, Chantler, Kay (c), Veseli, McGivern, Johnson, Assulin, Tchuimeni-Nimely, Mancini, McDermott.

A decent and exciting line up,anyone attending?

I will be going. That accident was reported this morning so it must have been bad if it is still causing problems.Pity Guidetti isn't playing as he has been scoring for fun but can't wait to see MJ and GA.
