Mancini unsure on Tevez stay

Roberto Mancini admits he is unsure how long Carlos Tevez will remain a Manchester City player.

Tevez signed a five-year contract with City in July 2009 and despite being a big hit with the Blues since making the cross-city move from United, he submitted a transfer request in December.

That was soon withdrawn, with the Argentina striker insisting he is fully committed to City after holding clear-the-talks with senior club officials.

But reports this week quoted the player's representative Kia Joorabchian as saying Tevez would be happy to rejoin Brazilian side Corinthians, a move he claimed he was confident of securing within the next couple of years.

To me, that says he'll be gone in the summer.
Now, if he wants to go, there's the door, adios.
And thanks for the memory's hopefully your career turns to dust.

We need him atleast until we get into the champs league. Once we are in the champs league we will stay there, because a whole new world of players will be happy to come to City.

At the moment all our hopes basically rest on Tevez staying fit, as well as Silva.

2 more years is fine by me.

You seem to have a deep, recurring fascination in the longevity of other people's threads.

I have a lot of things that are deep. You should see the insides of my legs.

I'm a deep guy.

I'm not sure which way I'll go re Tevez.....I think either burn him....stone him....or maybe drown him

Actually...no....I think I'll just ignore the bollocks in the media and carry on enjoying him scoring goals for City

Pssh I've lost the will to care.

He's here now that's all that matters, and if he goes in the summer he goes on our terms.

Personally though I think if we make chumps league, he'll stay. Either way though, the club wins as always.

I think he'll be gone in summer, wherever we finish. HOWEVER, that interviews says the same as what Mancini usually says in them - nothing. He's brilliant at giving long answers which don't actually answer the question or often any question, leaving the press to make stuff up.

As for Corinthians, of course he can go there. Just send us £80m and he's all yours

Of course he is going in the summer, that is the main reason why we have bought Dzeko.

Debatable. I'd say we bought Dzeko because:

a) Mancini doesn't fancy Ade

and

b) Jo's about as much use as a nun's tits

Otherwise why not buy Dzeko in the Summer and avoid paying January prices? He was every bit brought in for the here and now. And he's nothing like Tevez.

Of course, it's like a blinding light; the similarities are obvious for anyone to see & we're all stupid for not realising it. We'll only need one striker & 20 year old Balotelli to win us the Prem & Champion's league next season. We don't need Tevez or a replacement for him. Everything is sorted.

And if Dzeko gets injured, there's always the next season after that, we don't mind. So we miss 4th place next season due to one player getting injured, hey who cares? It's all one big, cool, happy plan.

Who knows if that is true if we bought Dzetko for replacing Tevez?
Find out next summer.

Anti Carlos song?
I am by no means anti Carlos Tevez, he is the best player we have.
What i don't like about Tevez is he loyalty.
What i meant was, If carlos leaves in the summer.
Get rid of him, he doesn't want to stay.
He will hardly be known as the most loyal player ever will he?

Carlos will stay. If I were a gambling man I would take money off you all.

On the off chance he did go, we've still got 3 years on his contract so we'd be getting one he'll of a replacement with a hefty transfer fee.

Not so sure about that, perhaps after we've had 2-3 years of CL, Spuds haven't signed anyone. Tevez would be almost impossible to replace anyway
