Yes it's not looking like the cakewalk every seemed to predict now does it?

Don't know much about Kiev but 8-1 can't be bad. We will struggle big time in Ukraine.

I'd rather play any 2 of them than Villa & Everton tbh.

Agreed. Decent win last night, particularly as we largely played with 10 with Balotelli's effort level pathetic, but Kiev will be a couple of notches above anything we've faced so far. No more Mickey Mouse teams left in by the looks of it.

I'm very worried about the cumulative impact of all these games right on top of each other. On paper Fulham and Wigan at home look relatively easy but if our attitude isn't spot on we'll drop points. Villa in the Cup will be no easy match either. Frankly if anything has to give I hope it's the Europa Cup. It's easy to say none of them are as good as Everton and Villa but how many of us have seen much of them? It's a lot of travel to Kiev as well.

And by the way when will Nigel be fit FFS? And Milner too. We really need them with all these matches.

For anyone interested you can watch Kiev's goals from last night with the link below. Didnt know Sheyvchenko was playing for them so we will at least know about him. Looks bloody cold there - hope it warms up a bit in the next 2 weeks.

I think we will go out against Kiev.

They will be dynamite at home in hostile conditions, can see us getting a bit of a hidding over there without our strongest team.

Go on then, how the fook is EVERYONE gonna finish work and get to the ground for kick off?

Kiev, who thrashed Besiktas in the last round, travel to Manchester a week later on March 17 for a 19:00 kick off (CET) that is 6pm here.

CRAZY.

Yeah but how many miles do get from one bag of coal?
Have considered the addition of a go faster stripe or two...Plug them into the soooper cigar lighter and they'd work a treat.
You could use some of that DOG GREASE that Andie uses to lube her knees and stop 'em creaking to loud.

Kick off time is a joke. It's alright for the dippers, they didn't have jobs to get from. They could just get up, have breakfast and go straight to the game. Can't believe I'm going to have to take time off for a home game!

I fancy Braga to beat the red scouse.

Kiev should be a great tie. Looking forward to it.

this looks practically as hard as the CL last 16 will be in terms of quality. i can't imagine that this group of teams vs the CL teams would really showcase that much variance in capabilities, but you never know. this will be tough, and i for one am glad that we have the realist Mancini as our coach. he will be the difference between success and failure imho.

Good luck Roberto!

cheers
