ESPN ripping the shit out of them here on Champs lg highlights.

"I'd love to tell you the 2nd half is livelier, but even Fletcher is falling asleep"

"I feel sorry for the producer that has to find highlights from this game"

Man they were getting burnt, loved ever minute.

Saw a good read on f365 the other day as well calling them dull and stating they'd be the worst/dullest team to ever win the prem if they go on.

Tony Cascarino on the official league podcast tipped them to lose v Wigan. It was nice to hear someone not sucking their dick at every opportunity.

I think it was Dieder Deschamps was saying something about this rag team being one that was dull compared to ones of the past.Seems the cunts are boring everyone.

They are very negative especially considering their recent spend. They should be beating teams like marseilles really.

They'll be the worst Champions ever if they win it. They are negative, they are full of weaknesses & they're top of the league because they make the best of what they've got. None of the other sides in the top 5 get the best out of their squads. If they did, they'd all finish above Utd this season.

We have an excuse that we're a new team sneaking up the table but Arsenal, Chelsea & even Spurs have stood still or gone backwards whilst the rags' standards have slipped quite a lot. If one of them can't take the league this season, they're going to really struggle once Ferguson gets some money to spend & we get our shit together.

The cunts have only won 3 away games all season - the reason they are where they are is their home form.

True but even the points they have won away from home have often been scraped out of dreadful performances. If we'd played as badly, we'd lose ever single game, we have in fact lost games where we've played better than they do, including against them.

unfortunately, that's what winners do. i mean, it's the definition, isn't it?

if i was a fan of the filth, i wouldn't give two fucls about this criticism. I'd laff it off. They made some poor buys last summer, and they'll make better ones next summer. If they win the league in between it's just a testament to how focused and resilient they are as a squad. We should be so lucky, or determined, shouldn't we?

cheers

They also have a repertoire of nice simple little routines & positions that are tried & tested at nicking goals when teams get tired & forget to mark properly.

I don't know one single rag fan who thinks they've been any good at all but equally I don't know one who doesn't think they'll win the league & they've felt like that for most of the season. They just expect to win, even if they're shit.

Come on Wigan.

Sorry, Dooms it's only me.

Just read this on the BeeB. It made me smile a little bit.

WIGAN v MAN UTD (1500 GMT)
Chris Whyatt reports: "Flair-free Manchester United's bore draw] at Marseille left millions rueing their decision not to watch paint dry. But a towering defensive unit, with the odd thunderbolt of brilliance up front, is still papering over the gaping cracks of a distinctly magnolia midfield. Will the league leaders ever truly click this season? Sir Alex Ferguson's grinders - who always prove Kryptonite for relegation-haunted Wigan - won't care 19 jots if they bank three glistening points before crucial trips to Chelsea and Liverpool."

Blimey. That's Chris Whyatt's chances of becoming BBC chief sports writer up the fucking swanny.

I think they'll lose to both Chelsea and Liverpool , by the way.

The most relevent remark in this thread was Ted's "They expect to win, even when they're shit"
So do their fans.

Compare that attitude to the one often promoted on here with comments like..."I'm just waiting for it to tits up"
I think the City players have self beief, I just hope that some of our fans would hurry up and catch up.

Maybe its because they have a recent history that suggest that them expecting to win although they are shit is due to the fact they can capitalise on their luck.
And our recent history is not so illustrious not really even in the same league.
So I think the fact the fuckers have the experience of being there having the T shirt etc... enables them to be top although they don't deserve it.

You said it.
I've been arguing with another member about luck.
And I think them fuckers are more adept at using whatever luck comes their way(more than us IMO)more so than we ever do.
So when you said we should be so lucky it kind of made a point I was trying to say.

My point being that there is a point when we have to understand that what has gone, has gone.

This is a new City under new ownership, with new players and a different coaching set up. The reasons for past failures have been removed and it is about time that City fans understood that and dumped the baggage.

The excuse often used to me that "It's ok for you, you saw City when we were successful" is a nonsense. We have to start understanding what we are now and adjust our thinking.
