I dont start new topics very much but thought this should be aired.
The cheating elbowing ugly c#nt Rooney has not, and will not be charged by the FA. As they feel the ref did what he thought was right at the time.
How the fuck can that be right, why is it that it keeps going on and the FA just dont have the back bone to finaly sort this shit out.

It says that he put in his report that he feels as though he dealt with it in the manner needed and it did'nt need anymore than a free kick. They have excepted his reasons are not looking to take it any further.

If the ref didnt red card him then they cant say he did what was needed.

Should be a 3 game ban at the very least.

Both. Cuntafuck for not giving anything and stating that it was appropriate and the FA for not having the balls to stand up to what was clearly a Red Card offence.

I can honestly say that I'm totally lost with this decision now (if I wasn't before) and can no longer see the point in watching the so-called 'Best League In The World'!

I can't remember all the details, but when Thatcher recieved a yellow in the game against Portsmouth. The FA were unhappy about the decision and even when the ref stuck by it they made it upto a red, they then demoted the ref from prem games for sometime. Just geos to show the level of protection does go beyond the refs.

The biggest point for me was that at the time Wigan were on top in the game and that decision could have possibly changed the outcome.

I'm not suprised, and, if I have to be 100% honest, I am not even enraged at it anymore. It's just the way it is, useless to get angry about it. Until they are at the top things like these won't change.

I've seen it here in Italy with Juve; before the 2006 scandal refs always gave them everything just like they do to the scum in England; since then, Juve has found it much harder with refs, and if you hear moaning about the ref in a Juve game, it's probably going to come from Juve itself as they were denied something (and to be fair, they are often right in their moaning as they get denied clear pens and such). Now it's Inter which is the one mostly getting the rub of the green from the referees.

I reiterate the same view that I posted in another thread. Understand it and...it's easy...if extremely unpalatable.
Anyone who remotely thinks that FIFA, UeFA, the FA or the Premier league Plc make their decisions for the benefit of football as a sport are either extremely naive or plain stooooopid.

All of those ruling bodies see it as their responsibility to maximise the profile of the game Worldwide in order to maximise global profits. Time and time again, those bodies have made decisions that are to the dtriment of the game in pursuit of money and power.

FIFA...
The seeding of the World Cup qualifying games to ensure that the non qualified bigger countries (eg France had an easier job).
The blatant moral disreguard of the game when Henry blatantly handled the ball (France V Ireland).
The decision to play the future World Cup comps in Qatar and Russia.

UeFA...
The changes to the structure and finances of the (old) European Cup to create a biased Champions league that favoured the elite "G" group of clubs. (probably worth £400M to the rags alone), at the expense of just about every other club outside England, Germany, Spain and Italy, as well as diverting money from grass roots football development programmes to those rich clubs.
The proposed Fair Play rules, designed to safeguard the financial interests of that old "G" group of clubs by stopping new investment in clubs attempting to challenge the old order.

You really only have to look yourselves at some of the decisions taken over the last few years by refs, officials and administrators of our game to see how our home governing bodies have sought to bend the rules in favour of certain bigger clubs at the expense of other smaller ones, to see how our game has been warped by corruption.

REFEREES chief Mike Riley has lept to the defence of Mark Clattenberg over the Wayne Rooney elbow fiasco.
Manchester United star Rooney clearly made contact with James McCarthy's head in the 4-0 win over Wigan.

But he has escaped punishment because Clattenberg told the FA he felt he had dealt with the incident during the match.

Riley, general manager of Professional Game Match Officials, said: "Mark took the correct course of action with this incident.

"Match officials are trained to prioritise following the ball, as that's where the greater majority of incidents are going to take place.

"However, we also do a lot of work around the area of peripheral vision to be aware of anything that might potentially happen off-the-ball.

"In this incident Mark was following play but caught sight of two players coming together and he awarded a free kick because he believed one player had impeded the other.

"We should be clear that Mark did nothing wrong in officiating this incident as he acted on what he saw on the pitch."

This is a pathetic and dishonest statement by the FA. Nothing in the FIFA regulations stops the FA acting if a referee didn't see an incident properly. If he clearly saw everything and made a decision (even the wrong one) then and only then are the FA's hands tied. In this case Clattenberg appears to admit he didn't see the incident properly which means he didn't really see it at all. If he had a scrap of decency he would review the video and tell the FA that he would have awarded a red card had he seen the full incident. Instead we get yet another disgraceful Stretford End decision facilitated by a disgraceful coward too frightened to own up to his mistake.
