Nigel Dejong makes a tackle on a Newcastle player, play is not stopped, the referee did not give a free kick, play continued. Sadly the Newcastle player broke his leg. The following Monday morning on Talkshite is a journalist I think is called Steve Curry...
" That Dejong should be banned, the FA should throw the buck at him, ban him for at least 6 months"
The attackes against Dejong on that channel continued for 4 days.
FEB 11
Rooney deliberately smashes his elbow into an opponent......... Mr Curry on Talkshite this morning.......
"The FA should let referees manage the game and situations like this, if we ask the FA to dish out punishments after a game has ended will open a can of worms and every decision will get overturned"

Personally, I agree with him. De Jong obviously went into the tackle with the sole intention of breaking a leg. You could see it in his eyes. De Jong is a stone-cold killer, hardened from years of torturing baby animals. Rooney was just running across the field. Sometime when you run really fast you raise your elbows to be more aerodynamic. Rooney's immense speed created a temporary vortex that caused an accidental collision with a nearby object. It's simple science really. Don't see what all the fuss is about

Curry is one of the few journos who are in baconfaces inner circle, he has never said anything derogatory towards him and never will. Yet, he constantly has jibes at Wenger, Mourinho when he was at Chelsea and now Bobby Mancini. He is a total gobshite and not really worth worrying about.

Full confirmation now on TalkSport that Rooney was guilty of assault. Adrian Durham is defending Rooney.
If he had meant to elbow him he would be in hospital now. YCMIU!
Now it's his elbow wasn't pointed so it wasnt violent contact.He was trying to hard to get past an opponent. He is funny.

When De Jong failed in his mission to kill Ben Arfa it was clear to most right minded journos like Curry that he should be dropped, fined, and banned indefinitely. I fail to see what the OP is getting so upset about.
