Now City really have to be taking the piss with this? why would anyone pay £45 for a shirt that is gonna be changed at the end of the season. I mean its the same shirt that we all have without a sponsor the only difference is that the badge and Umbro logo are in the same colour as the shirt, or am I missing something here. The idea is cool but to charge £45 at this stage in the season seems a bit stupid to me, what do you lot think?

If you think it's a shit idea dont buy it.
Maybe someone else loves it and buys ten.

The fact that it has no sponsor makes it 'timeless' in a way so your point about shirt changes and the time of release are invalid.
£45.00 is steep but it's not a rip of because of future shirt changes or release date as it's not a replica.

I really like it. One of the issues I have with wearing replicas is I don't particularly enjoy being a walking advert.
I might get one actually, are they doing it for the 3rd kit?

Tactic from Umbro to shift the massive amounts of material they preordered for this year's kits which haven't been as successful as last years is my best guess.

If you haven't seen them in the flesh, so to speak, they're really nice. Much nicer than a normal shirt. If I didn't have a replica top, or they were about £20, I'd be tempted, but £45 is a bit steep. However, as it's the same material as the current kit, with a different coloured badge and no sponsor, I can't see how they could charge less, without someone asking why the replica shirts are so expensive.

Saw them in the flesh up on the 1st floor of the City store, wondered what they were but they looked quite smart. Not smart enough to buy on top of the normal ones I have though!

£45 what a joke. They look like a normal jersey inside out!

I rather like the shirt itself however, 45 quid for shirts I already have but without the sponsor and the badges are the same colour? No thanks!

I heard mega units of this wonderful shirt were shifted at weekend.
In fact every shirt will look like this from now on.
