Not alot to say but here goes
Hart 6- One good save
Richards 7- At least was up for it
Kompany 6- Did the basics, gettin prone to bein issued yellow cards
Lescott 8- Calm and assured
Zabs 6- Got skinned a few times but didnt let his head drop
Silva 5- first 10 mins very good, tired and gave the ball away too many times
Yaya 4- Contributed nothing, strolled arouns,
Vieira 3 - slows the game down completely when he plays and got caught in possession a few times
Barry 4- Both he and V pass sideways all the time hence slow pace of game
Tevez 4- Never in the game, tired and flat
Balo 3- Pouted and pranced around again
Subs: Kolarov 4-woeful, soon to be scapegoat i feel ; De Jong 6- great to see him back, didnt touch the ball i think; Dzeko 6 nothin to say too short a time on
Mancini: 4, too conservative today, should have freshened the team up
Sum Up: We look tired, looked like we didnt want to be on the pitch, lacklustre , ill take the 3 points happily

Hart-8- when called upon-deliverence
Richards-6- seen him better and seen him worse
Kompany-6-generally good but a little rusty
Lesscott-7- growing balls
Zabba-6-gave his all but that is sometimes not enough
Silva-7-he can distribute no doubt about that. Lacking a mate of the same order at times.
Viera-7-slow as fuck but has recently adjusted to that. Read. Playing the ball earlier.
Barry-5-some wasted passes, same good passes and some passes that could've costed us the 3 p.
Yaya-7-spend lesser and lesser times flatted on the pitch sulking for a ref desision.Learaning the trade in the Prem.
Tevez-4-his worst performance for a while. Is he arsed? Maybe he is but still trying to do 5 Wigs on his own.
Ballatelli-6-Fermentation all the way. Can be good , can be bad. His call.

So Kolorov was so bad he did not even get a mark from you even though he was the first sub used?

Barry was absolute crap.
Toure and Tevez not far behind.
Vieira was our best midfield player today which is saying something.
Glad to see NDJ on the pitch we are desperate without him.
We will get hammered in Kiev with that level of performance.

This thread is much better than the one started minutes before at least the OP knows what he is talking about.

I thought Tevez was getting back to his best after a few average games today.
The link up in the 1st half between he, Balo and Silva was great to watch. He and Silva played about 5 straight passes to each other through the whle Wigan defence at one point.

Some poor performances today, particularly Tevez and Barry. We didn't play well but we won. Sign of a good team?

I think that old cliche gets churned out far too often. Sign of a lucky team maybe? It's great to be lucky.
Some individual performances were poor but the team was poor today.Even in the first half when there was some excellent short pieces of play we were not very good. The middle of defence was fairly solid today even though Vinnie wasnt quite as assured as he can be but Lescott I thought was the key man today.Zaba struggled and would probably be glad Moses was taken off ( even if Nzogbia took his place).
Tevez clearly not at his best still tried hard most of the time but he desperately needs a goal, Silva was great at times but his end product was below average I thought. Mario was poor and correct to be substituted as he was contributing nothing. Great to win the game but thats the easy stuff behind us. Now for the real games that will start to define the season.

Agree with most but I do not think Mario was poor - he had some excellent touches today but was far from poor.
The team as a whole were poor - again,,,,, and Mancini s excuses that the team is tired is starting to piss me off...every fucking games he whines about this.

Hart nothing of any consequence to do really 7
Richards Caught out once, but was failed by others when trying to push on 7
Lescott citys' best player in the last few games 8
Kompany rusty 6
Zabs skinned by Moses for the time he was on 5
Barry was Barry 6
Vieira Ok, but slows the tempo far too much 6
YaYa Easily our best player today, was everywhere 9
Silva love the little fella, but final ball/ pass today was crap 6
Ballotelli Mr enigma 6
Tevez Typical Carlos, but it was his worst game all season 5
Kolorov Can't work the fella out 5
other subs not on long enough to mark
3 points is 3 points, happy? yes

don't think mario was poor at all ... in the first half him and silva were our most dangerous players and mario was never afraid to beat his man and put several dangerous balls into the box. he also was involved in some of the only good play we had during the second half and I think his attitude was much better. He looked mad at himself when he messed up but didn't commit reckless fouls and tracked back. when he was subbed he didn't throw a fit either. pleased about that.
A player who isn't afraid of taking a man on and can be dangerous from any part of the attacking third is special indeed.

Think most the lads were very average. Nothing special at all.
What annoyed me is Shearer on MOTD, giving us a hard time for a lucky 1-0 etc etc. Im sure when the scum and chelski win 1-0 "its grinding out those kinds of results that makes you a top team." Double standards as usual.

I can't agree about Mario, he was supposed to be playing out on the left......we had little threat on the left except
1: when Silva and Toure combined in the first half
2: Kolarov did more in the 1st 5 mins of coming on that Mario did in the whole game
