Bellamy, Big Phil & other loanees...

What are the chances of them coming back to us next season?
I assume Bellamy will be allowed to leave on a free transfer, but hasn't Caicedo still got another 2 seasons left? Weiss should be back with us, I'd hazard a guess.
Any others? And also has there been anything in the news about the speculated movements of any of these players?

i was just this minute reading an article about phil on the MEN site. apparently we have already sold him for 860k! we really are shit at transfer dealings. he may not be to everyones taste but he is having a great season with a shite team. they are getting a bargain. levante then hope to sell him on for 4million! why dont we cut them out and flog him to moscow for that price.
i know we dont need the money, but still....!
mancini wouldnt have bellamy back, no matter how much the fans did.

I'd get Phil back and have him go out on loan over here for the first three months of next season to a promoted side or something. If he can crack it in the Prem, he might be useful backup. Our Kalou or whatever. Every squad needs good players that don't get pissy when they're on the bench.

id much rather have him on the bench than Jo. He's a decent player and would nick the odd goal unlike side show bob. i should be staggered that we are letting him go so cheap but sadly im not. somethings will never change at city!

Agree. I have a soft spot for Big Phil so nothing I would like more.
Can't see it happening unfortunately.

I bet we do sell him this summer but at the same time I bet the MUEN are just waffling shit about Levante's evil masterplan. If they buy him, I've no doubt they'll keep hold of him.

As usually people make moot points comparing one of our strikers to Jo, forgetting that he's only been played wide. Would big Phil do a better job than Jo on the left?

Weiss would.

No doubt, but the comparisons being made were between Caciedo and Jo.

I wouldn't mind knowing what Cityger thinks of Weiss's performances. Has he ever given us a report?

Jo is listed as a striker, Caicedo is a striker...comparison ends.
Him playing on the left just shows how poor we are in that position and what poor management has been perpetrated for us to come to this point. Bellamy and Weiss both on loan and could do 10x the job Jo has been. How people can say Bellamy has the wrong mentality when his overriding trait is determination, never say die and never give in. Sounds like the right sort of mentality to have around a club IMO.

No doubt he would. He has a bit of pace & is defo much, much stronger. I admire your sticking up for Jo on this site, but for all his potential to be a little less shit, ulitmately he's a wimp. Caicedo is not. The end.

Big Phil is a fucking carthorse who turns slower than the 'Queen Mary'.
Jo is a waste of time.
How's that comparison?
I'd like to see Weiss back though.

Onuah and Weiss I would have back
Would prefer big phil to Jo but I don't think it will happen that way

Yeah I'd have Nedum back straight away too.

Forgot he was only on loan. I'd love to have him back, too. All four of them, in fact, for next season. I think Big Phil would pair up well with Dzeko, were it not for the complete lack of pace this would give us up front.

I haven't seen as much of Weiss, as Cityger will have. But I've yet to see him rip a team to part! Everytime i've seen him he's looked very mediocre.
Be surprised if he ever makes it with us

at the end of the day big phil was a diamond in the rough. would never play him against a top 7 side, but from downwards he could score and cause problems against anyone, especially relegation teams. he was very likeable as well so would be nice to see him back here, but it just ain't gonna happen.
