City without Nige : 2-2 B'gham
1-1 Fulham
1-1 Notts
0-0 Aris
1-2 Scum
0-2 Kiev

All our midfielders doens't have half the value that Nige has. The most important piece of our puzzle

Why did you leave out the games we won? This is just getting silly now.

We won Notts, easy, and Villa, the only great game we had without him.
The Wigan game for me was a mess, they could have made 2-1 in the injury time, when we had 3 defensive midfielders on the pitch.

There are certain players in our first choice 11 that if they are missing leave a massive hole n the team is not the same regardless of who deputises. Nigel de Jong is one of those players he is immense n not replaceable, others on this list in my opinion are
David Silva - We create nothing without him n play totally negative, absolutely wonderful player, great feet
Vincent Kompany - Imo the best centre half in the premier league if not europe n still improving massively plus excellent attitude
Carlos Tevez - He seems to have a special understanding with Silva, also capable of winning a game from nothing, one of the worlds top 5 strikers
My belief also is Mario could be added to this list if he gets his head straight, the talent is definitely there its about attitude

These players are special n produce regularly at a high standard

Others like Yaya, Kolo, Milner, Barry, Lescott, Boeteng etc are not in my opinion good enough and let down the others by not producing regularly enough

Totally agree, but taking your point about wanting to include mario 'if he gets his head straight' - makes it all the more obvious that it's mainly the mental thing that makes tne importnat players stand out. All out players are capable of quality, but when the shit hits the fan, too few are able to take the lead and show an example to the others. That's what gives me teh odd sickening feeling when I watch us at the moment. At times I feel that shitter players who gave more of a shit would perform better, bit like watching England.

Fair enough but in order to have top world class players they must have the correct attitude and mentality coupled with the natural ability only found in a few players, Mario has this and the attitude can be added, whereas if a player has the correct mentality but not that natural ability they will never make it to the elite, they will be good solid players but will have a level they will never get above, for some players the skies the limit
