What a fantastic moment...A moment i will never forget!!

It seems Bobby is getting the best out of Micah again now, n however he's done it I for one am very glad to see Micah looking like he is getting back to the player we all knew he was capable of being. Judging by his reaction after scoring he is also greatful to Bobby for this. I think Micah should piss his way into the next England squad there isnt a better english right back around n he deserves it

Watching Carlito lift the FA cup would rank up there with those mate, I think there would be tears

seeing the way how we celebrated the goal, made me realize we havent looked like a team for a long time.

Not surprised....Micah ( OUR PLAYER) got him out of the shit...can you imagine the pressure he would be under if we had drawn or lost today ?

Mancini is getting the best out of Micah, which is great if you look back into the beginning of the season.

I got the impression Micah was trying harder today to stop crosses going in although that early one needed a great interception from Lescott.A result of the poor showing in previous games ,words spoken and special coaching?

I noticed this too, he was very aware of his winger and anytime he had the ball Micah was there in front of him watching closely his feet to see what he would do with the ball, never turned his back on him either.

Maybe the words after Kiev struck home and he remembered the coaching from years back!

And he stood him up a lot of the time preventing even the attempt.

I thought it showed a good spirit in the team. Bob should talk that up in his interviews rather than the tiredness.

It did look as if Micah had been told to get tighter to his man & was trying so that's a feather in Bob/Plunty/Kiddo's cap. Now they should try telling Kolarov.

Tbf, if a wide player is good at getting in crosses though, it's almost impossible to completely stop it, they'll always get some balls in. We just THINK it's possible because it happens to us, but that's because we are the worst team in the world at getting in crosses, even when AJ is fit.

It is criminal for a defender to turn his back on a shot / cross at goal....Kolorov does it all the time.

I think Mancini should have a word and fine the cunt if he ever does it again....I mean there is turning your head slightly and then there is turning your back altogether...its juts not on.

agree with OP, was good to see. Also Micah's general improvement has been impressive. I hope he goes on to continue to keep his head down and concentrate and keep improving. he is back to what his promise showed years ago and now he has both the experience and a new aptitude he could carry on improving to be THE outstanding RB in the prem.

In relation to others in the team, it is worth pointing out that Micah is both prem experienced and wasn't bought in. Two things in my view that make it a bit easier for the coaching staff and Mancini to deal with lack of application etc etc. IMO we will have to be patient and wait to see the best of Kolarov, Yaya, Balotelli, Dzeko, Boateng etc. IMO there are some things that cannot be forced or rushed especially with new players. Give Mancini a pre-season to work on the defective or downsides of each of those players and I rekon we will see a lot of improvement during the subsequent season as details are put into practice and time allows for the dealing with players attitudes.

AJ, Micah, Zabba, deJong and to some extent Lescott have improved under Mancini's regime over the longer term.. i dont feel it is over optimistic to get a sense that will continue with the players brought in.. given the right time scale.

I thought it was disgraceful - this is England. Men don't hug here. He should have just called him a soft cunt for rubbing his head after the first header, then said something about his mum. I give up with these foreigners, I really do.

I can't see this improvement of which you speak. Having just watched a rerun of the full game, the only time in 90 mins that he got near to stopping his man, was when the bloke trod on the ball & fell over. As Carl says; he turned his back on every cross. He also came for headers he had no chance of wining, leaving a big empty space down the wing behind him when he was inevitably beaten. The pre match interview by the reading manager said they were 'targeting' certain players. All the commentators & panel automatically knew he meant Kolarov.
