only you can so consistently make me feel so shit and fear no consequences.
BUT on days like today, you make me feel like I've been plugged into mains electricity.....just magic!
As I've said before, I've waited so so long to have a season like this and I am absolutely loving it. See that Nigel de Jong below, that's what I feel like...

Are you with me or what?

Words can't explain my feelings for Manchester City.
The one constant in my life.
I got booted out of home when I was sixteen because i wouldn't stop wandering off round the country to watch them. Probably cost me a marriage, certainly caused me no end of problems. At the same time, given me most of the best moments and experiences of my life.
Given me more heartache than ecstasy but I will never be able to stay away from them. Never.

Despite feeling frustrated during the game with a lot of the play, once we'd scored and especially after the final whistle, it felt very good. Wish the semi wasn't at wembley, as it doesn't feel right going there but only to win the chance to go back.
Standing there with my 9 year old, the same age I was in 1981, felt good though. Hopefully this won't be the only (real) highpoint she gets to see in the next 30 years

I woke up at 330am for the kickoff 15 minutes later.
I'm thinking to myself, do I get up and find a river or rollover and go to sleep.
I thought bugger it, I have to get up. It would have felt I was cheating on a loved one.

Am with you Melbourne, haven't missed a game this season and it has involved more than our fair share of 2am, 3am, 4am kickoffs.
I may love City, but I am starting to feel cheated and resentful.

My birthday weekend too. Kath decided we should spend the day "together" doing something nice.
Problem solved...."Kath...you're coming to the match"....sorted.

Mine will be the day after the semifinal...let's see if City can wrap up a present for me beating United, eh.
I'll take a look and see the prices for flights but I doubt I'll be able to actually go to the match; still, it would be an hell of a first City game for me :D
