Dont know if this has already been posted, but London marathon is 17th April, should be fun if we play the semi that day.
Good planning or what?

Its only a tiny place too - how many laps do they have to do?
So potentially that weekend we could have Bolton, Stoke, Scum, us and the scouse all in London ...
Well we'll feel at home with all the others - the scum's southern accents will give them away

If you're in Wembley you wont even know there's a marathon on, and if you're on the Isle of Dogs you wont know about any football. The Met's got plenty of bobbies.

I will be coming from France as I am away, so coming from Portsmouth, anyone got any suggestions on best way, Train looks dodgy as I need to be back 22.45 on the night of the game for return ferry,I am glad I will not have the war zones that will be THE M6/ M1 Services. How do they Police that.

Virgin Trains must be rubbing their hands with glee
On that note, I remember coming back from the play off final on the train....whole carriages in song with the coppers mostly blues with city shirts under their uniforms. Class. I had lost my voice when we got back into Piccadilly

I am planning on 1st class train from Coventry. Has to be in style. Thinking it through though, Wembley Central is much handier than tubing from Euston to Wembley Park. Might be worth checking out trains to Watford and just nipping into Wembley Central from there, thus avoiding the mayhem in London.
I was in London a few weeks back and Wembley Stadium appears like a collossus about 10 minutes before you get into Euston, so only about 50 minutes from Coventry. I can't wait, it looks amazing. The tension though, this will be tough.
