I am relly glad it's not. Injuries to get over (AJ, etc) and that international break might be vital for us. Our entire squad should pull out with excuses for not playing for their country. I'll bet Baconface engineers Rooney to be rested.

No matter what it will be a logistical nightmare getting 96,000 thousand fans down to Wembley from the North West. The Manchester filth fans will surely be able to share a taxi.

I agree with this. I really don't think we're in any kind of state to win a big semi-final at the moment. In five weeks, we may have struck form and got over this tiredness thing, which I think is largely psychological. The players will have the beaches in sight, too, so they might be a bit more cheerful and energised. A sunny, warm day (not boiling) might be what what some players need. (I'm hoping it won't be pissing down and cold)

I think we'll do well to get about 30,000 each. A significant percentage goes to FA members, other clubs, and wining and dining, etc.

They should all get away for a few days and chill. Then come back refreshed. Hard life these fellas have, you know. If it makes us stronger, just do it. The dross football of the past month has to change or this semi could be harder than it already is. I think we have a better match-up against The Rages than The Arse, strange as that may sound. Get the boys refreshed and we have every chance.

Strange how there are around 30,000 neutrals at each final but you can never see them; they all seem to be dressed in colours of the two teams. Perhaps they all get a complimentary shirt & scarf that matches the supporters to whom they are sat nearest?

The only other explaination could be, that they all sell their seats to touts, who flog them to fans of the two teams presumably for huge sums of money. That can't be true though, because that would mean that the FA are a bunch of scumbags who are happy to see fans fleeced by their cronies & members.

Thanks for the replies, s1ty m and Ted. I agree with both of you. Something - anything - that can get these players' minds away from this bloody "Oh, I'm so, so tired" bollocks would be brilliant. A few days in Spain, a week wandering the streets of Cheadle... Anything. As for the relocation of football tickets - I remember when the FA sacked Terry Venables because of a vague suspicion of corruption. Sanctimonious, two-faced bastards. I just hope it wouldn't suit their coffers to have City lose the semi.

5 weeks should give them time to relay the pitch with non-allergenic grass.

What do you mean in five weeks? You're a bit of a shambles already.
Offering to "pipe off" Balotelli if he scored the winner shows you are not a well man.
