As part of the OS rewind features, they have just posted the playoff final.

Still brings a tear to my eye when Dickov scores, but two things always stand out when i watch that..

1. Brian Horton "Its game over" after gillingham go 2 up, only for a few minutes later, "Its not over, I said that" No brian you didnt, funny though

2. nicky Weaver on his run, now who it the last player in that squad you wanna run toward, answers on a postcard.

Great video! Still gives me shivers seeing dickov score and weaver running around at the end. Weaver was my hero after that!

We had awesome seats, front row of tier 2, or upper deck as it was. Unbelievable day, just crazy. When we got back, I had planned on guzzling a bucket of beer. I was so emotionally drained, I was just knackered and managed a pint before going to sleep.

That said, I was at Villa Park in 81 and that semi-final win is my best day ever, watching city. Even beats the LC Final in 76.

Dickov's goal, Weaver's saves & run, and Mark Kennedy running 50 yards into Joe Royle's arms at Blackburn are the most exciting moments I've had with my clothes on these past dozen years. The team's reaction to Micah's goal on Sunday says that maybe they're feeling some of the same spirit. If so it can take them to two cup finals.
