I may have a fiver on him scoring the winner, missing a penalty, and being sent off.

hahahaha.

i've got a fiver on him not turning up to the semi coz it turns out he's been arrested for trying to kill timmy mallett. both equally plausible.

(and i mean he's more than capable of scoring)

Why not put a fiver on him scoring the winner at Chelsea?

Big Game Player; I'm trying to remember which Big Game he has scored in, or even played?

Anyone?

PS. Hopefully the Kiev players have washed their kits properly, no stray blades of glass!

In every way....

Thing is....I do understand is why some people don't really like him as a person/character

I can even understand why some people don't really see his qualities/talent/contribution as a player

What I don't understand is why the above people think that everyone should share their views and that they must doggedly insist that anyone who sees the positives to Mario is WRONG.

There's nothing wrong in seeing the positives, but I just haven't yet seen this brilliance. My only thoughts for Balotelli are for what I see on the pitch and as yet I haven't seen enough to make a judgement such as yours. I am however, hoping that he shows me what you and a few others see and that he turns out to be a real player but I can't see that happening while trying to shoe-horn him into a position that doesn't suit him. Maybe Mancini is after the next Henry?

Even Darius scored a decent goal ;-)

Good to see that one goal could have such an effect.

If we get a pen (playing the scum so we wont) i'd be happy to see him step up for it.

But let's be real. If it's going to be anyone to win us this game with a wonder goal it will be our nige.
