I am on my way to work. How are they panning out lads? Inter- Bayern was looking tasty as I was leaving.

Inter scored in 89th minute to win 2-3 and to claim a place in QF. That was a cracking match of football

red bastards went through too but at least they now have a game midweek before the semifinal for sure.

The one saving grace of those shitbags going through is that they will now have a midweek Champs Lge game to occupy them before they play us.

We need a draw that sends them away in the 2nd leg to either Barcelona to get caned, or to Shahktar as its about as far as they would have to travel.

From what I've seen this season (apart from his buddies giving him the points) Taggart has reverted to a counter-attacking game of football.

From what I've seen, he's paid the opposition to consistantly keep missing piss easy chances in every fucking game. Better for us that the wankers stay in the competition a bit longer though. If our squad starts to struggle, so will theirs. Could also do with Chelsea & Spurs being drawn against nasty oppo, or against each other.

City have to figure out scholes. He is the dirtiest bastard playing for a filthbag of a club, but he just passes the ball so well. Someone has got to get a grip of him and stop him. He's old, so he should be slow. If Vidic is somehow out when we play them, we can do it if Mancini grows a pair and has a go. With Vidic, they are much tougher. Not a lot to fear though and I still think we match up well...on paper. Just got to stop scholes.

For the 1st part, I agree. For the 2nd I feel that if they'd've dropped out their arrogant confidence would go.

I thought United looked weak tonight, they player better against Arsenal.

OM came and were intent on scoring, which they manager a little too late. They should've had more though, Gignac spurned and one of the big guys from defence (Diawara?) missed a Robert Huth wet dream.

Still, United always look a threat and it was no real surprise they got though I suppose. Just hope they meet Barca or Real soon.

Only caught the last few mins of Bayern v Inter but it looked an absolute cracker.

Anyone see Sir Bacon's pre match interview btw? Clearly half pissed, mild slurring of words, with pronounced red blotches all over his ugly mush. Definitely reminiscent of the ealy phase of Brian Clough's slide into oblivion. Phase two will happen when we start winning the trophies they are accustomed to hoovering up unopposed & the 'great sorcerer's' magic bullshit starts to wear off. Won't be too long now..

It's unreal how he can even think to call the refs unfair. Tonight was no different with OM getting no help at all from the officials
