Chicken Kiev - Who's going

HUGE, MASSIVE, FAIRLY BIG game tommorrow night.

0-2 down, no away goals, 2nd favourites to go through, need to score 3 more goals than Kiev to go through - BRILLIANT. I am so up for this game and it is a disgrace by UEFA that the game kicks off at 6pm, will put thousands off the crowd.

Who's going? bring your voices and your positive vibes, we are going to do it and be in that draw on Friday.

If you aren't going because it's 6pm, pull a sickie ;-)

CITY NEEDS YOU!

I think there's already been a call to arms. I'll be there anyway, as always.

I'ill be there.

I'd try & give a rousing speech but it won''t make any difference. Hopefully, with all the fans who are going having been seated in the lower tiers, the atmoshere will still be good, so we can cheer them on to victory & watch every cunt come out of the woodwork & suddenly find 5 times as much money for a ticket, beer, food & travel to Dublin if we get there.

Will be there as usual. Strange that about 50k plus have suddenly developed an interest in the FA Cup and will "want a Wembley ticket," and yet only 25k bother to attend most of the FA Cup or Europa League home matches throughout the season.

Not defending anyone here, but I'd say a semi against Man U at Wembley was aboiut twice as exciting as a 6pm Europa tie we're 2-0 down in against Kiev so it stands to reason.

Very typically smart answer. Whats the absence excuse then for the missing 20k for the Timasoara, Lech Poznan, Salzburg, Leicester, Notts County or Villa games?

Probably exactly the same?!

Look I made the comment in almost apology I'm not trying to be "typically smart". But again, for financial reasons some of us only get to go to half the games a season. I'd rather pay a bit more and see United in the semi than two games in the Europa.

You asked the question, don't be a twat when someone tries to respond with a perfectly feasible answer.

Are you saying that there isn't 44,000 city fans in the Greater Manchester area and beyond who couldn't afford to shell out £15 to see us in a cup game?

Finance is a big problem for many but what about those who watch it in the pub than getting a ticket at the game? My local has been packed with blues for our cup games, they probably spent more than £15 in drinks.

Nope, you didnt answer the question at all. However your "Im the smartest Alec on here" routine may entertain yourself but its getting quite tedious. Ill leave the "being a Twat" routine down to you.

Back on the topic and away fom your points scoring attempts, it is time we City fans stopped pretending what fabulous fans we are when our Cup home attendances this season have been pathetic. Tomorrows attendance will likely be part of a pattern for our home Cup games, and yet miraculously everybody will want a piece of the Wembley trip. The financial thing doesnt wash when the club have reduced prices at Cup games making them lower than snake piss, and yet still very few show up. The Kick-Off time tomorrow isnt the best, but look at the pattern and think bigger picture before giving a "feasible answer."

other than the fact that there are quite a few people who really do have to pick and choose their games for financial reasons.... agree with that.

How did I not answer it you complete cretin? SEMI V UNITED TWICE AS ATTRACTIVE = TWICE AS MANY PEOPLE. Can I put it on a plate for you any clearer?

Listen, whatever your issue with me is you're sounding pathetic. No offence but I have not noticed you posting before and if I have offended you in the past leave it there. Not once have I tried to be "the smartest Alec" I have, several times, given you a valid answer.

Financial issues are a matter for every single game, regardless of the price. Those of us who have come from Uni and are stuck in a shitty paid job have to contemplate every pound we spend. Give to that we're finishing work at 5:30 and are on the other side of Manchester whilst relying on public transport it's not "feasible" game for us to be going to.

As for your so called "bigger picture" I think it's pretty evident that we don't have the volume of fans as a lot of other top Premiership sides. It's hardly surprising when the other half have constantly been winning trophies for 20 years. I do not think this detracts anything away from the fans we have got and I don't think you should be on your high horse dictating to the rest of us plebs which games you think we should and shouldn't be attending.

I am amazed at the attitude of some City fans.

It seems that some won't be there because we are 2-0 down and don't consider that attemppting to win a European trophy is woeth the bother.

There seems to be a brand new breed of fan these days, who act more like customers than supporters. Turn up for the big games to see what City will give them...Cummon City, entertain me and give me my moneysworth.

I always belived that it was the duty of the supporter to get behind the team and drive them on to greater efforts and success. Cheer the team through the bad times and lift them to perform.

rubbish john - i've been at maine road with crowds far lower than anything we've had for the last few seasons.

the real error is to think that we're bigger than we are. don't be ashamed that we're not "massive". be glad that the part time fans won't get in your way tomorrow.

It's disappointing imo. We've been waiting to be in this position for years & now we're here, half the fans don't give a shit. However anyone tries to paint it, that's the truth.

From Paul Dickov's injury time equaliser & people shedding tears over dreams of being in the 1st division to 'can't be arsed' when we play Dynamo Kiev.
