If not Nani then who?

ok it seems pretty much overwhelming Nani isn't wanted well give me your suggestions of who you would want? We need more creativity more good delivery for our world class strikers n need to be able to unlock defences..... Who is or are the players to do this? Be realistic with players we stand a chance of actually getting

One I would take a punt at is Samir Nasri, a bit soft but very talented player n virtually everyone at Arse has their price

So everyone is quick to dismiss but cant actually contribute to who would n could do the job we actually need most in the team?

Alexis Sanchez & Jurado/Arteta. Sanchez for wingplay & in Jurado/Arteta we'd have a decent option for Silva.
All reasonable targets that would strenghten the team and we actually could get.

In fantasy football I'd take Fabregas & possibly that wing forward they have at real. plays with similar name than a former brazilian superstar

Ha ha, realistic targets but are they quick fixes or part of a long term plan that can be included in the building of a team, I would try for Gourcuff think he tore England apart for France at Wembley, would take a lot to prize him away from a club he only moved to last summer

To be honest it's not easy know who would come in and improve us at present, especially when you say be realistic.

Obviously would love the likes of Fabregas, Nasri, Essien, Iniesta, Maicon etc etc but these kind of players are not available.

I would not mind the likes of Sergio Aguero, Arjen Robben, Nuri Sahin, Marek Hamsik, Fabio Coentrao, Davide Santon to me they would be more realistic as clubs would probably sell given the right price.

Some good young players around right now in the premier league like Marc Albrighton, Seamus Coleman, James Mcarthy but i doubt they would have any chance of making the team.

Sanchez is a great shout, Di Maria, Costa, Bale, do we have first option on Neymar being part of the Robinho loan deal?

Ribery? I think we could get Nasri or Arshavin, if the price is right Arse cant afford not to, Even Cesc has a price if you wanna pay it?

Didn't you think Hamsik looked completely overrated at the world cup?

I want to pay it, but he's dead set on Barcelona so we would get nowhere with a bid. They would sell Arshavin but he's getting on now.No hope of getting Nasri from them i would think.

Surely you cant judge a player on one tournament alone?

I could well see especially Sanchez being part of a successful big team in europe. A bit like Di Maria/Özil at Real now.

Arteta would simply be squad player/short term fix but Jurado. I got to admit I haven't seen too much of him this season.
I saw him years ago and he looked like a promising playmaker. Now I've seen him a couple of times this season for Schalke and he has been pulling the strings for them. if he's like that more often then he'd defo be one for long-term plans

Sanchez is a good call. There was also a lad playing for Wolfsburg, Misimovic - BiB will know him I reckon - looked shit hot together with Dzeko and Grafite in their league-winning season. Think he just signed for a Russian side tho.

He's been top notch for Brescia and Napoli in Seria A, chips in with more than his fair share of goals for a midfielder.

Been thinking about other possible players and Milo Krasic would be one i would really like to see at city, very intelligent player.

Not only do we have first option on Neymar but also on Paulo Henrique who is supposed to be a fantastic talent.(Not that I have seen him play, just going on outside reports here)

@G&B:I am in the same boat as Ruthless, all I have to judge him on was the WC.

I like the look of Christian Eriksen, but I don't understand why I've been asked to seek a replacement for Nani.

Tip for Ruthless: If you want to get your post count up, head to off-topic and call someone a cunt. You'll be 100 posts better off in no time.
