Mancini - Tevez is tired

Roberto Mancini believes Carlos Tevez must be rested if he is to get back to his talismanic best.

The Manchester City skipper has led by example this season, with his goals helping to keep City inside the Premier League's top four, in the semi-finals of the FA Cup and the last 16 of the Europa League.

His high standards have dipped of late, though, with the target found just once in his last nine outings.

City need him to start firing on all cylinders again if a promising campaign is to bring reward, with the Argentine striker's form likely to have a major impact on the Blues' trophy quest.

Mancini accepts as much and admits that he is hoping Tevez will be given an opportunity to recharge his batteries in the not too distant future.

OOOOWWWW what a shame.
Another excuse to give him a fucking free 2 week break no doubt?
I mean, these footballers these days really do 'earn' there 190k a week salary's don't they?
Fuck off you soft cunts.

I am getting really confused.Tevez needs a rest but he plays him tonight in a game that is apparently of secondary importance to the league game and the quest for the top 4 finish which comes 3 days later. In fact he is playing the full best 11 he can for tonight's game.

I am glad he is playing this 11 for Kiev but he does seem to be a little contradictory.
