From what I saw the ref was either incompetent or he had been given orders to ensure the game went Kiev's way. Don't get me wrong, I ain't doing a Taggart, but some of the decisions tonight were just beyond comprehension.
So, what is it, or am I seeing things that aren't really there?

he ruined the match continuasly blowing his whistle for the slightest thing, it was not a dirty match how many yellow cards did we get, some of decisions were diabolical

Man city - 5 yellow cards (not counting the red)
Diving fuckers - 3
Says it all really. If you watched the game there is no fair explanation for that

That was the least of it, the constant bringing back of play for petty stuff really began to nark me. There was a point when Kiev played a free-kick 15 yards forward from the original position and whilst the ball still moving and the ref looked and let them play on. Yet during that period of play we then got a free-kick that was taken from the right place with the ball stationary and he called it back, presumably because it was taken
too fast!
I just wonder, Russia getting the World Cup?

What a joke. Time-waisting is a yellow card and none of the players got any. The ref blew his whistle for shoulder pushes when City players pushed off Kiev players, but when it happened the other way around, nothing happened..
This ref is a joke. A disgrace. As was Kiev.

Some of the refs in the earlier rounds were excellnet, way better than the bent crooks we see each saturday in the PL. Now the bigger knock out rounds have arrived, they seem to have gone shite. Or bent. No money changing hands, no way, could not possibly happen, no. Whatever.

We all thought that, we also thought that Vince got the same. Spooky Phantom Yellow Card Shower.

I noticed him doing that. Also, as City were trying to get momentum into the game, he ran the length of the pitch to a Kiev player feigning injury, told him to get up, then ran all the way back, thus stopping City's momentum in exactly the manner the player was trying to achieve. Whether it's corruption or incompetence I don't know but it was way below standard.

Usually European refs seem to be better than the Premier League refs but this twat yesterday definitely was not.

Last night's ref was called: Cuneyt Cakir.
Not even his name can hide it.

Besides the issue that a ref may have been paid for a certain outcome to a match I think the part where you reckon that you see things the camera's get and the ref misses are part of the fact that the standard of reffing is coming in for more critisism nowadays. The camera's see things the ref does't and replay's it.Therefore the ref's mistakes are more evident.
