The Dong

Don't think he's ready yet. He's gone into pass backwards or sideways mode that he did under Hughes. This season he's been awesome, contributing in attacks, as well as cleaning everything up at the back. Last night he just passed back to the defence everytime he got the ball (think he did 2 forward passes), and they just hoofed it, which is the complete opposite of the game he's played this year. Hope he gets back fit again soon as he's intergral to us getting the chumps league spot.

Take him a few games to get back to full tilt. May also have been worried about losing posession if everyone was too far ahead of the ball, with us being a man short.

This.

That's definitely what I was thinking last night and i thought he did an excellent job under the circumstances. Fucked about with it once on the edge of the box but otherwise tip-top.

Nobody other than Carlos Micah n Silva were makin any moves or space to receive the ball in forward positions, not many options without playing risky passes n potentially losin possesion. He was given MoM at the stadium so he cant have done much wrong

as I said in another thread, there was absolutely no reason for him, barry and yaya to be on the pitch at the same time last night, non at all.
