Anticipation is rising ahead of City’s first FA Cup semi final since 1981, tickets for which will go on sale to Seasoncard holders with more than 6,000 loyalty points and Seasoncard holders who are active members of the Cup Games Direct Scheme from Saturday, 26 March.
The match against Manchester United, in the FA Cup sponsored by E.ON, will take place on Saturday, 16 April with a kick-off time of 5.15pm. The club has received an allocation of 31,500 tickets in the West End of Wembley Stadium.

Five categories of match ticket are available to purchase, priced as follows:

Category Price (Adult) Price (Under 16 & Over 65)
Category 1 £60 £50
Category 2 £50 £40
Category 3 £40 £30
Category 4 £30 £20
Disabled £30 (plus free Assistant)

Tickets will be made available to Seasoncard holders based on loyalty point status. We would also like to reward Seasoncard holders who are active members of the Cup Games Direct scheme for the FA Cup, supporting the team throughout this season’s competition. These supporters will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket for the Semi Final from the opening day of sale, regardless of loyalty point status.

Tickets are strictly limited and will be available on a one ticket per qualifying supporter basis. Tickets are non-transferable. If the Supporter Number used is that of an Adult, then only an Adult ticket may be purchased. This also applies to Under 16s and Over 65s. Supporters must be in possession of their valid Seasoncard at the time of purchase. Under no circumstance will tickets be sold to supporters without production of a valid Seasoncard.

Subject to availability, tickets will be available by telephone on 0870 062 1894 (option 1) and to personal callers at the Stadium Box Office for supporters that meet the criteria below. Qualifying loyalty points will be taken as those held on the respective supporter’s file at 9am on Saturday 19 March 2011. Supporters entitled to bonus loyalty points for purchasing tickets for the home FA Cup matches against Notts County, Aston Villa and/or Reading will have been credited with these points by this time.

Tickets purchased over the telephone will be subject to a £2.00 booking fee per ticket and a Special Delivery charge of £5.05 and tickets will be posted to the registered address of each individual supporter.

The following groups will receive an allocation of tickets for this match: Supporters, Seasonal Hospitality Supporters, Owner, Board of Directors, Football Management, Players, Club Officials and Staff, Former Players, Club Partners and the MCFC Supporters Club.

Buying tickets for other supporters

We are aware that some groups of supporters with different numbers of loyalty points would like to purchase tickets together for this match. In an attempt to support this, groups of up to six supporters may purchase tickets as soon as 50% of the supporters have the requisite number of loyalty points, as long as all supporters have 3,000 points or more. Where one or more supporters have less than 3,000 points, those on higher points can wait until every member of the group qualifies or buy tickets separately.

Any one supporter can purchase up to six tickets, using valid, qualifying Seasoncards. To purchase tickets on behalf of other supporters, the buying supporter must be in possession of each of the respective cards at the time of booking and be prepared to answer a number of security questions relating to each of the card holders including date of birth, postcode and card number.

I'm just ahead of you by a day or two Ash. Basically what they've done there, is to persuade people to get involved in the cup direct scheme.

My reading of it is that you could be a first year seasoncard holder with say 500 pointds, but because you're in the cup direct scheme, you're at the front of the queue. Apologies if I'm wrong on that.

Yeah pretty much, if your in the scheme you get a ticket, if you went to every game without being in the scheme then fuck you is my interpretation of it.

Don't suppose you can join the scheme today can you lol.

It would be handy to know where you are in relation to other card holders...ie =18534th or whatever, and how many card holders the club has.

Not if you're a Citycard holder with twice as many points as a SC Holder....I'm sure there will be people in that very boat.

Think its around the 36,000 mark for SC holders but last year was only 31,000 so 5000 new SC holders but some of them may have been long time citycard holders so it doesnt mean they have less points.
