Fucking love watching that goal.

If he can build up his stamina reserves, plus making the normal first season improvements, imagine how good he's going to be next year - frightening.

For me is incredible a guy his stature can run like that with the ball. We had in the first half one opportunity when he ran through the scum defence like nothing and he was stopped in the last second by Vidic. I've seen this running only at Usain Bolt (same stature).

I don't even want to think about it... the stuff of Nightmares!

His stamina also seems to be improving towards the end of the season... the guy is a beast honestly!

I still think the "Yaya lacks stamina" stuff is garbage.

While at barca he had practically nothing to do.. occasionally mop up a loose ball, so maybe that has had something to do with him taking time to get into the swing of things in the prem.
The thing is though he has the ability and the right ideas to be a big threat in every game. Once on the move he really really takes some stopping. I'd like to see him running at the defence at least 4 times in a game, every game. It would pay off and he would really change some games.. a bit like Gerrard of old.

City would do well to have someone run in behind him too when he does that, as more than often when he goes over the oppo dont get the ball, one or two get squashed under Yaya and the ball jumps free, just a thought!

It's even better in slow-mo, not only does he get round Vidic and make him look like a pub team defender, he also fools VDS into thinking he's going to put the ball round him into the corner, and instead disguises a clip underneath him (and between his legs). I can't get over how good that goal was.

He really goes from one end to the other. At times unplayable, at times shouldn't be on the pitch. Like Balotelli without the attitude haha.

I am so happy to be proved wrong!

Edit: Well, not wrong exactly. He's had some outstanding games for City, and his goals in the semi and in the final were vital, but he's had some poor games too. I think people need to stop digging up old threads.
