The way Micah's been playing, he wouldn't be dropped for anyone.

Micah at the minute is one of the best right backs in the league. Unfortunately though he does have issues with the mental side of his game and if he lets his hype go to his head again we could be back to square one. Micah's main two problems are his concerntration and positional sense, he seems to have sorted both of these out in the main so as long as he keeps his head he can only build on from here.

Maybe a good thing he's not in the england squad yet the harder he has to work over a prolonged time the less likely he is to throw it away again, I do believe he should've been picked but from a purely city n selfish point of view glad he hasnt

Richards problem is, and always has been, between his ears.

When he remembers to remain switched on and apply himself he can be as good as anything around. The signs of improvement this season are good. Lets hope it continues - however giving away daft free-kicks like the one on Luiz on sunday still leaves doubts.

I can accept the odd silly mistake or error of judgement by an individual

It doesnt excuse the rest of the team for playing like cunts. Had they not played like cunts, Richards' error may have been completely immaterial

Micah's problem is that he's too forward minded. It is great to see him charge forward and cross the ball in. He does a good job with that at the moment.
His problem, however, is that he doesn't track back in time. As people have complained about Kolarov, the main priority of a defender is too defend. Every time I see him stand in the penalty area in a situation other than a corner/free kick, I cringe, because a counter attack will put the team on the back foot. As soon as Micah loses the ball, he needs to go back, not stay up front. We have our wide midfielders and strikers for that.

He also needs to learn his physical power. Sometimes he just bulldozes over players, giving away free kicks. I like it, but it doesn't help the team. His positional sense isn't that great either, however, he has, again, showed he's very talented and if he keeps this form up, he'll be an impressive player. Not often you get a strong physical and fast player like Micah.

Alves would have been a major signing IMO. Seeing as he is staying at Barca along with most other star turns, I wonder is champs League gonna be all it is cracked upto-be for us. The best players are at Barca.
