Ashley Young

Would you take him? Premier League experience, fast, tricky and a good delivery. Would chip in with a few goals aswell. Could see him leaving Villa and wouldn't be too difficult to get him. He's no Messi but certainly better than what wingers we have at the moment.

I'd say he's as good if not better. AJ has potential to be class but emphasis strongly on the word potential. We need an out and out winger who hugs the touchline. I hate playing wingers on the wrong wings.

How good is he with his right then especially if he does come here, which i honestly can`t see. Rags or bindippers will get him as i agree he`s on his way.

He's right footed. I'd stick him on the right wing and Aj on the left wing, two proper wingers.
Can't see Rags signing him, they already have Nani and Valencia. If pool get him, it'll be a steal.

get him and start getting some delivery to dzeko = goals

I'd be up for it, can't say the same about mancini

Yep, he's far too fast for Mancini to sign.

It'd keep up our quota of signing Villa players. Sure, why not? OK, good times here, let us party down.

We need quality pace and width on the wings but i wouldnt take young, blows hot and cold and sick of givin villa money at this stage, ive a few villa mates and they wont be displeased if they sell him for 20m plus, i just think we can do better....

I'd actually rather have Jarvis - he's mainly right-footed (though should probably be described as two footed) and likes to play on the left, so he would give us balance alongside AJ, and having those two in the same team sheet we could still leave the opposition guessing about our formation.

If we are gonna give Villa more cash,i'd sooner it be for Albrighton.

However,i'd prefer N'Zogbia over all above mentioned - pace, power, skill and goals.Living and being settled in the area is also a factor. He should have been signed in Jan,we wouldn't now be sh1tting ourselves over retaining 4th.

Jarvis, N'Zogbia and Downing would all be ahead of Young for me, with Jarvis at the top of the list. Young's a decent player, I just don't fucking like him. He's a whining, cheating, moaning twat and we have already got one too many of those.

Tokyo you seem very cranky today if you don't mind me saying.

Agree with most of the comments here. Young is OK but would not suit our current system (or our current manager's philosophy). Plus there are better of his type around.

If we go out for another wide player can we not for once buy one that is good at what a winger should be good at. Crossing the ball into the box. I don't want a winger because he can score goals, I want a winger who can cross it so Dzeko can score goals. Otherwise what is the point of buying the big bosnian?

What is wrong with buying a player to do what his position requires? Why does every defender, midfielder and winger have to score goals and be super-creative?

Because to be a top class winger imo you have to chip in with a few goals. I wouldn't buy someone just for that but it is a necessity of a top class winger.

yeah definitely would love to see him play for city, great pace and would play well with a higher quality of players, but think he's far too creative and quick for a mancini team.

Not saying he's a world beater but he'd certainly give us an injection of much needed pace and flair. He already has experience and I can't see him staying at Villa next season.

I agree other players should chip in, all I am saying is that we should not buy non-strikers for their goalscoring ability but for their crossing ability and be happy when they chip in with a few instead of relying on them for our goals:-) I'd take a winger with 12 assists and 2 goals a season any day over one with 10 goals and a few assists. Atleast the way our team is built atm.

I would've taken Young over Milner any day of the week. Don't know now though. It's not really lack of personel that bothers us in midfield.
