Hope Lescott's taxi has turned up. Gyan skinned him for the goal and gave him fits.

Time to let Mr Kompany look after Gyan, and also Mr De Jong to introduce himself to Mr Gyan in the first 15 minutes. That should sort the problem out.

England the last two games may not have showed us that they are going to win stuff but it has been a hell lot enjoyable than the last how many years.

The difference in not playing that outdated 4-4-2 and having someone intelligent in the midfield in Wilshere who makes the whole team play is amazing yet not suprising.

---------------------------Hart-----------------------------

G.Johnson---------Anyone--------Terry------------Cole

-----Gerrard/Lampard------Parker------Wilshere-----

--A.Johnson------------------------------Young/Rooney

---------------------------Caroll-----------------------------

That team is more than good enough to win Euro 2012.

I am delighted he did him in an England game and not against City. Great bit of play for his goal.

Capello experimented with a 4-3-3 in the two warmup friendlies before the world cup - we were completely shite in both games and had to revert back to a 4-4-2. The main problem was the midfield in those matches, we were either overrun or outflanked at will. Parker and Wilshire have shown they can make it work for us though.

Didn't get to watch it as i was working, but from the highlights it seemed a good flowing game.

Just watched few minutes of it so I can't really comment but I think Carroll took his goal well.

I liked how Downing shielded him from one of their defenders after laying on the assist too

Seen anyone you would like to see in a city shirt?
I thought Cahill, Baines and Young had decent games. I can certainly see those three fit into our squad with a few slipping down the pecking order. Namely Ballotelli, Kolo and Kolarov.

Would it be worth Moyes' moaning for the next 6 months to everyone that'll listen?

Baines is an average defender imo but very good going forward. Cahill I think is a little impulsive and not really better than what we have already.I didn't like the way he let Gyan through, hoping he was offside, in the 2nd half for that wild shot into the side netting.
