I thought I would nick Neil's post from Bmoon, thanks Neil.
"Got the chance to go along today and have a look at the troops.
No need to go into what they did, it wasn't anything different to the norm.
Missing were, Zaba, Boateng, Micah and obviously Kolo. VK didn't take part in the session and was doing some running before he went in early.
One thing I noticed about today more than the last time I visited was the level of effort, notably different and a lot more intense, the last bit was a 2 touch game but the 2 attackers on each side were all-in, really good finishing from Tevez and Dzeko.
There were a few niggles going on, nothing nasty just intense, NDJ constantly going mad with his team mates, MJ was involved and looked like he wasn't out of place in the squad.
Really happy with what I saw today, the level has definitely picked up."
Have to agree about the intensity of the session today compared to previous days.It always seems that way when Nigel is around:)
Zaba we understand flew in last night and is expected at Carrington today. No doubt his fitness will be assessed to check he is ok for Sunday.
The 2 touch game was quite hard given the intensity of the game and it took a few moments for some of the players to realise what was going on. AJ and Mario were the other 2 allowed as many touches as they liked. One or two players who impressed me were Boyata, nice and calm and defending well.SWP, so much good effort at both ends.Tevez scored one absolute beauty and how we can hope he does the same against Sunderland.Kolarov blasted one through the keeper.AJ looking as tricky as ever and getting his fitness back.
A little bit of a problem with the reffing when one desision was given against Yaya.Nigel remonstrating strongly saying the game was full of pussies or something similar.Classic stuff.
Some bugger with a video camera started using my steps while I was away on the other side of the field.Turns out he was doing some sort of documentary for Channel 4 ( so he said). He hadn't got any authority for his filming so I think he was being vetted and maybe warned later on.
