.. when we win 5-0 but there's only about 20000 in the ground at the end of the game?

People have got better things to do like getting home to watch Soaps or getting home ten minutes earlier!

My number 1 pet hate with city fans. Drives me absolutely fucking insane and I don't know why it happens.
Should have been belting out blue moon in the 90th minute instead of hearing the clunking of seats flipping up. The players deserved a thorough round of applause after today's game as well. Am convinced it's the reason we score very few last minute goals, must be pretty deflating for the players.
Think the club need to address it, put something in the programme or a video appeal by the players on the big screens or something.
Wonder if the early leavers will be doing the same at wembley if we're beating the scum 5-0...

Totally agree. I left the ground at the final whistle which was around 6pm and was home in Bolton by 6.40. Poor from some blues. Support your team!!

annoyed me too, as always.
Possibly an excuse for night matches with public transport what it is, but it happens in every game, regardless of score. Leaving today wasn't good, but it's even worse when it's so tight and they need the support

I was there applauding Nige off down the tunnel and don't really care what anyone else does. What is wierd though is seeing a non-stop stream of early leavers from the SS. I thought all the SS were the true support? Obviously, I was wrong.

It really winds me up - we have more leaving when we're beating a team like today than when we're doing shit.
I really do not understand why they do it, if you dont want to get stuck in the crowds after the game then wait behined a little bit longer - its beggers believe and proof of how shit some fans have become - and the funny things is - its the same cock faced 'fans' that sit on the road, pipping thier horns as the road is closed to let the real fans leave without getting ran over - I enjoy that bit.
5-0 win and they're leaving in droves ... shamefull, shamefull!

sign of the times.
Football used to be a working mans' sport...and working men were more loyal. now we're stuck with them (ex?) "SNOTTY UNI CUNTS". No bollox, no loyalty...just a load of glory hunting bandwagon jumpers...

Care to expand on this?
In response to the topic, I don't agree with leaving early either. It's not just specific to City, or England though. It's a sign o' the times.

I thought the funniest thing today was the sight of Platt standing next to Mancini on the touchline when we were 4-0 up. Even the commentator said he wouldn't be within a mile if it ws tight. Twonk looking for some kudos.
