I am almost certain my tickets were part of the nicked ones. I haven't heard anything from the club at this stage.
Has anyone else here had their's nicked, and if so have you heard from the club and what solution are they offering?
Thanks.
http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Club-news/20 ... ets-updateSupporters will be aware from a statement issued earlier in the week that Manchester City are working closely with Greater Manchester Police and Royal Mail in connection with the theft of a number of bags of Special Delivery mail items from a Royal Mail van on Friday 1st April 2011.
The Club is receiving a large number of telephone enquiries from supporters who have yet to receive their FA Cup Semi-Final ticket(s) and who are becoming concerned that their ticket may be involved in the theft.
We would like to advise supporters that there is currently a processing delay of approximately three to four working days from the point of purchase until tickets are despatched.
Regarding those tickets that were stolen:
* The Club has now confirmed with the Royal Mail, The FA and Wembley Stadium, the number of tickets stolen and their seat location within Wembley Stadium.
* All such tickets have now had their barcode deactivated on the venue’s access control system and anyone in possession of such tickets will be denied access to Wembley Stadium. Supporters should only purchase tickets directly from the Club.
* Letters will be despatched today and tomorrow to all supporters directly impacted by the theft documenting the procedure for obtaining replacement ticket(s). Where multiple tickets were bought for supporters living at the same address, only one letter will be sent per household.
