As I've said before; I hope it's a long contract as we can watch im squirm more & more as time goes on. Icing on the cake for me.

We get to watch Neville suffer as we tread our path to greatness. Payback. Hope Ferguson joins the panel too.

Hate neville but kind of agree with your point.

Can Neville really bring himself to praise city or liverpool after a win over united? Gonna be fun watching him squirm as you say.

Wasn't this confirmed about 3 months ago? I presume Sky are trying to get more exposure by doing another press release about this twat. As Ted says it will be fun watching him squirm. Fortunately I don't have Sky

Clearly a signing to annoy people and be 'controversial'.

Why can't they use people who actually add something to the commentary and who are capable of highlighting things you don't notice when watching?

I want to cancel because of this but would miss the overall sports too much...

Hmm i think maybe i will be cancelling sky sports at the end of the season then. LOF shows everything anyway. and is only £24 a year rather than £120 or whatever i pay for sky sports. If it wasnt for UFC i'd cancel espn aswell.

Whats the connections with LOF like?

I have horrid issues with any river that isn't run through sopcast.

Not that it matters really as either will be equally horrible, but is he going to be in the studio on things like Soccer Saturday or will he be one of the 'experts' at the live games? I'm guessing it's the former as he'd probably cause a riot at our ground.

I don't seem to have any problems with it these days (in the UK) - quality is good even at full screen too. There might be some stuttering at peak times though, (IE 3pm on a Saturday) particularly if there are a few tasty fixtures being played. Try a one day pass for a couple of quid (equivalent), maybe?

Might do it with the semi-final cause I predict it will show up on Setanta here which means stupid money for a single channel(and I don't pay it) AND they require two months purchase before and after cancellation, full fucking ripoff.

If you can find streams on veetle, they are high quality, but you may have to reload them every 20 mins or so because of takedown notices. Myp2p.eu gives a list of about 20 streams for each game in a variety of mediums. Really good stuff

I have had 1 problem with it this season. It gave me an error message for the first 20 minutes of a game. Apart from that no problems atall, normally 2 streams to choose from and always english comm's so i would recommend it. No point paying £2 for a one day pass thouh miht aswell pay the £6 and it will take you throuh till the end of the season.

With internet on the tv these days it is just seeming more and more pointless to have sky sports.

I am quite aware, thanks.

I was hoping FOL would be a higher quality, more stable connection and watchable on my big arse plasma. Some of the streams on myp2p look shockingly bad when you blow them up that big.

Looks ok on a 26'' lcd, although not as high quality as a tv picture. No problems as far as I'm concerned, but then I'm not fussy (I'm one of those people who can't see what the fuss is over HDTV).

Edit - Certainly a lot more stable than anything else I've tried, hardly ever a blip.

is espn3.com available in uk/europe? if so, it is full HD for select games without requiring you to get a cable contract

I cancelled sky in March. Listen to that prick Tyler at the end of the Schmeichel/Neville clip...I feel liberated not having to listen to the snidey comments anymore

I'm thinking of subscribing to Sky, just so that I can cancel my subscription in protest...
