Up front tonight

Interesting poll on Man City's FB page about who should be playing up front tonight. I'd say that the outcome was slightly unexpected.

Tevez on his own - 154 votes
Tevez & Balotelli - 582 votes
Tevez & Dzeko - 1250 votes
Tevez Balotelli & Dzeko - 244 votes

What surprised me was that despite some tits on here constantly sticking up for Balotelli's stupidity and wank performances, and other tits who have already written Dzeko off, the wider MCFC community seems to rate Dzeko much higher than Balotelli.

Or have people really just had enough of him and his antics?

Have to say, I wouldn't bother with him tonight......we need 11 men on the pitch, not 10 men and a spolied brat.

Balotelli was fine against Sunderland ... he even smiled a couple of times.

You shouldn't read too much into that poll.

Dzeko has Bosnian super-fans following his every move and a majority of them follow the social media feeds resulting in bias surveys such as your example.

personally I'd play Jo on his own, no one will be expecting that.

I will eat my hat if Balotelli doesn't start.

I reckon he will be out on the left, Carlos up front on his own, Silva wandering and AJ on the bench - Barry in.

So predictable I'm afraid.

Balotelli is twice the player of Dzeko. Ability wise.

Fair point............hadn't thought of that. Just had a quick look at the first couple of hundred voters, whilst there are a small number of people whose name ends in "ic" who voted, there's certainly not enough to explain a ratio of 2:1 over the Tevez/Balotelli option.

I was gonna like this post until i realised I wasn't on facebook!

Instead i'm gonna write off Dzeko as too old and demand the return of Jo to our starting line up! ;-)

same team as last week please roberto

Well, Dzeko is probably a safer bet in terms of behaviour, but not in terms of performance; I'm a big Dzeko fan but tbf Balotelli's stats are better than Dzeko's, he's scored more and is generally more dangerous near the opposition goal.

This said, Dzeko will have to start scoring in the league eventually so I've no problem with him playing tonight.

Did anyone ending "ni" vote and if so what did he go for?
