I don't know if its just me that has had this problem or others have as well, but last night was one of several times this season I've known within the first 10-15minutes of a game that it wasn't going to be our night. From the start we just didn't look right, didn't look like we were going to creat anything. Some other games have been Everton at home, scum at home, arsenal away.

Anybody else get this feeling?

whenever we concede the 1st goal i never think we will go on to win the game. even get a point for that matter. we dont have that will to win. its pathetic.

Soon as their first went in I knew we were getting jack.

I cannot remember the last time we came back from a goal down to win a match. I also cannot remember the last time we changed our approach during a match when something isn't working - we just plug away with the same plan from start to finish.

That's why when a team comes out flying against us and scores early on you get that feeling.

We havent won a game played anywhere away from COMS for nearly 4 months, thus any game not at home is usually a giveawy as one we arent going to win.

With last nights result fresh in his mind, this saturday will see the old trusted 4-5-1 and the bus reversed in front of the net.

As soon as I saw the teamsheet I knew we would not win.

And me. Why change a winning team. Last week was only 2 weeks to the semi so why not rest players so they don`t get injured then?

I believe our plan is "pass it to bloody Tevez" - as we don't change our approach that plan was difficult to follow after 12 mins.

We actually did it against Wolves if you remember - but it was at home and they are absolutely wank! We still made them look like worldbeaters though.

This is the biggest problem I think. I actually had a fair idea we were going to struggle when I saw the line up and within 5 mins I knew for sure.

Taking out Silva and De Jong was suicide. We have seen that for the most part, and for whatever reason, we cannot overturn matches when we go behind, so if he wanted to rest the likes of Silva and de jong, do so in the latter stages of the game after we have gained at least some momentum, nevermind a goal or two.

We got fucking owned last night and the direct reasons were Barry instead of De Jong, Milner instead of Silva and Dzeko instead of Balo. Until we learn to cross the ball (and certainly when we decide to drop Silva as well), Dzeko cannot be started and expected to score when he has to drop deep.

It is quite amazing to think that we have ONE attacking midfielder and TWO wingers in the squad, one of which is played on the wrong side and the other which isn't played at all.

We may forget about Dzeko until this is sorted out for next season. All things point towards starting with Balo up front on his own and Silva behind on Saturday. It doesn't fill me with hope, but it worked in the cup against Villa and I feel its better than starting with Dzeko when there's no hope of successful crossing as it stands.

its the lack of desire more than anything else,we are playing at anfield being embarrassed by liverpool we back out of every tackle only committing 3 fouls (sky sports) in the game,our strikers were so unwilling to take a chance we had no offsides in the game we let them play as they liked

As soon as I saw de Jong and Silva were on the bench I had doubts, the moment Suarez hit the post early in the game I pretty much knew we'd lose, and by the time they scored their first i was worried we would end up being humiliated.

Yes was pissed off when I heard the team, then I knew we weren't going to even get a point when BALLOTELLi came on for tevez instead of silva. Dzeko was lumped up front on his own, we had no midfield and were playing long ball. We attempted to solve this by bringing on another striker and leaving him to be lumped up beside dzeko, so they could both stand there and recieve fuck all because there was a non existant midfield of barry milner and yaya supposed to be playing behind them. 442 / whatever we try and play when we dont go 433 (and i dont think the players know either) does not and has not worked for us!
