He's a defensive midfielder

Left all day for me, especially when we're playing Dzeko in the middle. Get him running at the full back and whipping it in onto Edins' head.

on the left, we need some balance. its so fucking obvious its untrue. the sad thing is he is probably the best option we have for the right as well. id like to see swp start there on saturday though. probably one of the few that wants to see that.

This was beyond belief. The two worst decisions from within the game, was not playing AJ against the new full back, and bringing de Jong on so late 3-0 down.

That shows just how fucking arrogant Mancini is...he was probably thinking that Kolorov would have the skills necessary to beat him whereas stevie fuckign wonder would have seen enough to change it around after 20 mins ......

As there is no option for 'I dont care which side he plays on I just wish he would get himself fit enough to put a 90 minute shift in' I didn't bother voting.

i actually prefer him on the right cutting in, seems to create a lot of chances playing on the right, but what i dont understand is why cant he switch over now & again to the left, gives each full back problems,

One would think that Mancini stole your car from under your nose the way you keep going about him being clueless, arrogant, etc.

We get it, you want him out of the club, many agree with you and I'm convincing myself you're right too; it will probably happen at the end of the season; there's no need to go about it the way you do in every single post though.

As for the OP question, I reckon he can play indifferently on both flanks, it depends what we want from him; if we want him shooting toward goal, then the right is better as he can cut in and shoot with his strong foot; if we need him to cross, then he should play on the left, and thus if we play Dzeko I reckon he should be on the left and provide the crosses we still haven't managed to feed te Bosnian with.

he needs to learn how and when to cross the ball first

My bird is a scouse sympathizer and this was the 1st game she watched with me. Fucking shit. I did get a bit tho.
